So just like the fuel gauge, this one also has 8 bars - similar to nokia charge or signal indicators. I'd appreciate it if someone who has the electronic meter confirmed this behavior as normal.
yep mine is the analog guage.
not yet decided about the position yet, have to remove the cam from the present place and move it around till i get a view where the ends of the rear bumper is visible in the periphery of the screen.

nah... its the people who drive them
BTW - I'm just getting the new seats done. Promise to post pictures. Now the car looks good on the inside too!
I'm still waiting for suggestions on the ICE. Has anyone installed the JVC 826? I didn't find any info on that in the ICE threads. Is there a similar system with Pioneer? I ask as it doesn't make sense in spending 6K to just get the two volume buttons on the steering wheel functional again. Pioneer has steering remotes that cost less than 1 grand.

any specific reason for opting for the JVC826, not sure if the indash screen will be visible to anyone in the 2nd row.

The choice might sound silly, but its basically a fascination with touch devices. I also think GPS and the rear camera I plan to install is best viewed on the dash. I don't want to many screen around. Besides, I'm not so worried about the 2nd Row - don't have plans to use DVDs, its only going to be music.

thats a good point, maybe you should also consider that electronics with a lot of features crammed in have a higher malfunction/failure rate.

The gear knob hasn't been done up. They offered to cover it entirely with leather, but I think it looks better like this, part metal, err... beast

Now the problem - my last row has become so fat that it can't bend over! May need some liposuction.

And here is the tissue box (in the same colors - beige and black) that was thrown in.

I'd definitely recommend these guys - very professional job. There were 10 guys working for a day to complete this for me. They even stitched a big rexine bag -complete with handles and zips for the old fabric seat covers!

After a turn, is it normal that the steering does not return to the normal position on the Scorpio? I have to manually turn it back to the 'straight' position. This was not the case with other cars I've driven - Swift, Wagon R or the Indica.

Hi Triedeverything,

The leather work in your car is very good. Truly professional grade, good paper napkin box and steering cover too!!

Ask them to cut the bottoms for all cubby holes inside the car with the same colour combo and it would look even better!!

Good show!

Hi Tried, You are welcome. I had done a small DIY in covering the cubby holes bottom with the same material of the seat covers. It looks nice, also avoids any noise with the things kept in them.

Too much for sure!!
