Awesome pictures mate Laura is a wonderful package, and its interiors are the best in its class - it can even comepte a class higher.

Hope Skoda does something about its A.S.S.

The interiors are real classy, especially the seats. The gear knob looks great.

Great pictures friend, looks like you want people to wait further for the full view of the car
As Ravich pointed out, there are dead pedals on both sides.

1) Do you mean AC vents under front seat like the Civic has? If so, then nope, the Laura doesn't have them.

There are two AC vents under each front seat for rear passengers (apart from the ones in the center).

2) The rear armrest is stiff in horizontal position. It actually is very well positioned and comfortable. I personally don't like the angle of the rear seats, but my parents love them.

3) I'll have to get back to you about the rear fog light, can't remember.

The two red plastics on the rear bumper are reflectors. There are fog lights in both rear lights but, by default, the left side is deactivated. So basically, there is a fog lamp in the right side rear light (quite a powerful one).

4) No dead pedal :-( I wonder if I can get an after market one? considering the amount of engineering gone into this car, this is an unforgivable mistake. There is a clip on the front windshield for parking tickets, but no dead pedal !

As other BHPians have pointed out, there are dead pedals for both, clutch and accelerator, in the Laura.

I'll take snaps of the mini-flat when I get home tonight :-)
Awesome photography! Love the pictures.

Sameer, on my first tank I got 8.5 kmpl average. If I keep my car on instantaneous mileage, I get anywhere from 4 to 20 kmpl depending on speed and acceleration. I think an average of 8-9 is what one should expect in the city. I am actually quite happy with this, considering the car is capable of keeping up with a V6 accord and can even put the beans on some of the 5 series cars!

At around 10.5 laks on road, people (masses not enthusiasts) dont want the outdated octavia. A new car has to be refreshing, else people are not interested.

impl!, did you change your alloys?
If so, what did you do with the old ones (15" that come stock with the car)?

Pictures by 'imp!' show 16" wheels & Goodyear NCT 5 tyres, didn't read 'imp!' having changed wheels/tyres so far.
Isn't 205/55R16 stock size for Laura? As far I know, Octavia has 15" stock wheels.

The Laura ambiente models have 15" stock wheels. I upgraded to 16" for a few different reasons, they provide better handling, traction, grip and of-course they look a lot nicer. The drawback is a slightly firmer ride and a little hit in fuel efficiency.

After 1,100 kms I am getting an average of 11. My daily commute is about 60%highway and 40% city. Purely city I get 8-9 kmpl.
