^^ anil, in one of your posts above, you have written about the gear ratios of the Figo & the Vista. Is there any website or source for this information? I ask, because I am interested in also finding out the gear ratios for the Liva diesel & the Micra diesel. Do you think you can help?

Drive safe.

My Figo is due for service in couple of weeks time, till now covered close to just 2200 km (due to travel). Touch wood till now I do not have any issues with the vehicle.

Quite surprised to see on some threads some people have mentioned about some issues with there vehicle.

Any ways I am thoroughly enjoying my Figo Tdci.

Check the below thread by Bhpian laxmanrk. He fitted Hella 700FF and gave detailed about how he fixed the same (with photos).

Thanks devakumar. Looks ok, but i wonder if they'll fall off at high speeds. My front bumper is rattling which the SA attributes to wind.

Inspiring from LaxmanRK I bought Hella 700FF on sunday 2nd Oct. Due to festive season installation is postponed to next week. I am going to fit it on dogbar by drilling holes on black plastic part where Number Plate is Fixed with help of Bracket. Since its going to be fitted on rigid part I dont think they will either vibrate or fall apart.

They did this in June itself. No? Could not get the logic behind removing tacho from EXi though!

How much does these cost vis a vis the semi synthetic that we use ?
The semi synthetic costs around 800 or less for 4L, I think.

My philosophy is use semi synthetic and then change the oil as many times as you want,; I am sure this is many a bhpian's policy as well.

Apart from this. I have experiencing the stalling issue still. I thought once the race chip was this there would be respite to this stalling issues. Now I am sure it is not the fuel or fuel contamination but the clutch pedal sensor and the ECU programming for sure. This is because I am using race chip which maintains higher fuel pressures and if that was the problem earlier then the issue should have been solved now;
Sad very Sad. There is this scare all the time you know.

DTE was 170. I filled for 1000/- which came around 22.7 litres of diesel (No tankfull). The DTE shot up to 564. Can I say the mileage calculated by DTE is 564-170=394/22.7=17.3. Correct if I am wrong.

The drive was in the city with 95% AC on.

@figo_mba - Sorry to hear the stalling issue. I think it has nothing to do with the fuel, but something related to Electronics.

Yes, that is correct and if the driving pattern is same, the actual also should be close to that.

I have done tank full y'day and i got the mileage of 14.85 by tank full method (always on AC). After the tank full, the DTE shows 699 which translates to 15.53.

My daily office drive is from E. Tambaram to Sholinganallur and i was expecting little better mileage than what i am getting now :(. I used to get the 15kmpl in my wagon R (petrol) previously in the same route.

The route has become almost congested now and the roads are very bad. So it may affect your mileage.

Thanks. Am driving from TNagar to Shollinganallur via Velachery. The Metro construction makes driving miserable (hope it is temporary).

The engine is well set and I reach 80 at 1900rpm and this may be the reason for a decent mileage. The drive includes lot of idling.

I am fortunate in this respect. My route to office is of about 7 KM and most of the road is 6 lane with very thin traffic and no signal in between, so I could remain in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear most of the time without much breaking. My TDCI ZXI is giving me Mileage of 19+ right from beginning, as of today there is 4000KM on odo and my DTE+Trip meter figures are showing almost 820. On pure highway ride (NH4 Pune Kolhapur) few days ago I could score 23.7 KMPL with my usual driving style (80 to 100 KMPH on highways). I am happy with mileage performance but HeadLights and GC problem is fly in ointment. However inpiring from "LaxmanRK", I have already bought Hella 700FF and going to install this week to solve headlight problem, Let me see how those lamps perform. I am wishfully thinking that I would be able to put FULL STOP to Head Lights problem with those pair of 700FF lamps.
