I think there shouldn't be any difference in A/C performance. The 1.2L engine built for fuel economy would lack a little power so when you switch on the A/C there would be a power lag. Considering the technology Swift packs this lag difference will also be minor.

It also depends on the A/C pressure that your car is running at. Higher pressure means better cooling.

Thanks all of you guys!
Thanks mobike008! My first encounter with a senior BHPian!Feeling honoured.
To answer some of the questions posted freinds:

a) No cosmetic changes, in fact you will not be able to tell the difference at all, unless you pop the hood Than too only if you have seen the engine of the one before!
There is one thing, the upholstery on the seats is a different (better) design.
b) power lag exists (but is extremely minimal) when you switch on the AC.
c) Accessaries planned are : Alloys ( 14" only), ICE (basic already put Sony double din with 4 simple xplode speakers) , Looking to do some leather finishing in the interior will update when finalised!

More snaps to come next .
Cheers.

Only VDI & ZXI comes with body colored door handles and mirrors. The rest of them are black.

Congrats on the swift!!

Could you please post the details of the Yokos, like the exact model name, price and the buy back value that you got for the stock tyres. Also, were the stock ones from MRF or from some other brand?

I have run 320 km on its 1st tank full(40L) and the fuel indicator is about to reach the half way mark, this already suggests a fuel efficiency of about 15, will give exact figures on the next tank full

Check out the pics:

Cheers!
Congrats on your new car and happy motoring...

Congrats on the new ride. Btw how much did you pay OTR? Would look cool with alloys, but please get those stock tyres changed. Go in for 195 size.

He has already upgraded to 185 size Yokos on the first day itself !

@ Pro-Idiot : You have mentioned that the new swift is more comfortable and gentle that he earlier one. Has maruti tweaked the the suspension setting to achieve this?

Also, I read elsewhere on the forum, that Maruti has changed the design a bit so that the body and doors are mounted onto the frame in a different manner. This is done with the motivation of reducing the rattling issues. Could you please throw some light on this if you have some information. Have you faced any issues with rattles yet?

Correct, Maruti has softened the suspension a bit on the K series Swift. This has resulted in noticeably better ride quality. Though improved, the firm edge still remains.
