@octane1002 - how about some good quality pics? Lots of them :P
P.S - how much does a general service cost at the A.S.C?

@shuvc:IMHO even i like the stock lights.The red looks especially nice in contrast to the black.Jus lookin around for opinions.

@rg chn:Along with oil change and misc. filters, a general service should set you back by 7-8k.(higher since they use shell helix fully synthetic oil for the RS)

@jagxf:Thanx for the compliments bro.Please do post pics of the jag.One helluva ride man.

IMHO octane1002 nothing beats the stock look of octavia vRS. Its what defines its entity and i would suggest you to avoid too many cosmetic mods as it would make your car look like another cosmetically enhanced octavia on road. I hope you get my point

@jagxf:No mods planned.Not even cosmetic.Love the way the car looks as of now.Understated and means business.As a matter of fact, what attracted me most to this car was its ownership history and the fact that it was TOTALLY STOCK.I'm a big fan of stock horses.

However, don't be surprised if you find a BOV added.

@ACM:Thanx bro.After such a long search, anything else would just have been a compromise.

@asish22:Point taken sir.Look above.

Nice buy dude.Welcome to the RS club.I know what you feel right now as i felt the same a year back.Still rocking.
Hope you got a duplicate key fob along with the original one.
And one of your nut caps is missing.
I would suggest try giving the calipers green as it looks stunning on my ride.And are you planning any suspension jobs?.

@ashish22:Thanx for the lead man.

@hafi:Thanx for the wishes man.Your RS looks equally stunning.Regarding the callipers, I browsed through Briskoda anmd found that early mark 1 vRS's used to come with green callipers, which was subsequently changed to red.Also I figured out that I already has the green shade of the vRS in the Skoda emblem on the wheels.Hence went in with red.A lot of thoughts went into the modifications actually.

Hey Octane, just started reading your thread and your posts made my eyes well up dude. I know how the wait feels. I myself am waiting since past 3 years. Everytime I decide a car to buy something happens/comes up and then the buying gets pushed forward. I know how the wait feels but still dont know how it feels to have the dream fulfilled.Enjoy the car man. You are one lucky guy to know what you want and to finally get what you want. Respect man.

Well my first dream car was an Opel astra way back in 97 then Fiat adventure, I was too young to buy that time. Then It was Palio 1.6 was contemplating when Fabia came into the picture with air bags in the base model. I realised that the Fabia was a 3 pot so waited. Then came Manza, was about to buy when I decided to wait for the BSIII to BSIV change and now due to financial reasons the wait has been extended by an year more as I want to buy the car with my own money. Now Im hoping to land up with the Tjet or Tata Prima next year between June to December .

Default Instantaneous Fuel Consumption

@All:Is there a trip comp in the RS for displaying instantaneous fuel consumption?And how do the "rain sensing" wipers work in the RS?
