This is the first time, i am reading a blog of yours live, and i cannot restrain myself from hitting the F5 button. Now i can understand the frustrations of fellow bhp-ians from your other blogs.

you and I have some what similar taste's while selecting cars.
I value the sales representative deeply while considering any car.
He shouldn't be too desperate and on the flip side he shouldn't ignore you also

If more than two calls are made to my number(after the TD) ,at least for me its a major Turn off.
Stuff like "Oo shiny Brake pedal's me like's" , closing the door while the sales person is jabbering about the car , "wow this car has wonderful noise cancellation inside ". these were some of my experiences while i was buying(rather being gifted a car).

Great Thread, waiting for more.

Its a pleasure to read your threads Sam. And once more you oblige us.

You should get Akbar on T-BHP, or is he already a member here?

Huh? I realise he likes the V6. I realise that you can't really say "Over my dead body" in Hindi.
Dekhte hai, I say.

Double silencer wala leneka. Must bhagti hai.

I start staring at all the Honda Accords on the road. And then it hits me. I don't want to buy this car.

ROTFLMAO, 'Cheap passat!!' I would have loved to see the look on the salesman's face when u asked him if the 23L car was the cheap passat.

Sorry? The cheap Passat?

Sir this is the 9.434 Fctxi.
Is this the car that costs 23lacs?
he replies giving me a funny look.
Thanks. I get in.

Man, this is definitely the best thread you've started aleast from my perspective, because it's a car review and yet it's signature Yeti. It's just brilliant, and so damn funny !!

I remember over the phone while I was trying to explain to you some crap about the cars that you didn't really care about (1.86 CrjGTF), you interrupted me and asked... Do you think the Accord is worth 22L ??

Alright then, thanks and bye !!

First of all, let me congratulate you on your new Skoda Superb. But more than that, let me congratulate you on an excellent writeup that has had me drooling the whole day. Looking forward to the completion of this masterpiece.

Who say non-fiction is dull? You just proved them wrong

Captivating pen of yours Sam. The nimble wit put into words creates all the magic, I suppose. Keep up the good work and Congrats for the Superb.
