There are only 6 preset Memory for FM & AM stations. How to configure if there are more stations (more than 6) in a place like chennai.

Once you preset all 6 stations, select 'band' button on the right hand side of the audio console. You will see FM2 on the display. Set the required number of stations here (max 6 again). If you want more, press 'band' again and you will see FM3 where you can set 6 more FM stations. Totally you can preset upto 18 (3 * 6) stations. Apart from FMs you can also preset AM stations using the same 'button'

Some updates on City driving
-Auto lock at 7kmph is working well and very handy
-PS response is very good
-there is a latency time involved for both Switching off and on of A/c and not instant
-2nd Gear is not powerful if turbo is not on (need to be more than 1500 rpm)
-with full load of 4 adults power of engine goes down if you are in the lower side of the rpm
-No engine vibrations noticed so far
-No other noises heard - touchwood
-Parcel tray is useful without speakers to keep small purchases done at road side
-Rear power windows is a must (I thought it is not an issue at that time of TD and demo, but feel the need of it now)
-Fuel lamp warning started when DTE reached exactly at 79kmph
-Made a habit of switching off the engine after reving up till 1450 rpm with all lights/audio off for 1 to 2 min and then running it for 1 min idle and switching off. I always do this to have the battery charged after a night slow city driving.
-Lane change indicator is very handyh
-Car seems much bigger from inside

-Gear shifts, Audio, A/c, Road view, Convenient boot opening,Boot space, Non-sudden turbo jump (note my automobile vocabulary) are real positives of this car.

Almost most of these points are observed and updated by figo owners in tbhp and so my invention in the car has become limited

No need for that revving at night. Its just a waste of fuel. There wont be any benefit.

During low speed driving at nights (20-30 kms) the battery discharge is more than charging. Hence I do a rev up to charge the battery full and switch off. I did for my maruti and the battery came for 6 full years with A/c and hence become my habit.
If I come from long drive I dont do it. You may be right as modern day alternators may be capable of charging better even at low speeds.

The alternator is connected to the engine and hence it is the engine rpm which matters. Most of the alternators are designed to charge at idle rpm

Not for the modern cars. You are contributing to the economy of the fuel companies!

I don't even idle the engine for the turbo!

Venkat, Rajesh and Gemi - I agree with you all. When I went to a free checkup camp at Lucas TVS at whites road 3 to 4 years back, they found my Amaron in top condition and hence it became my habit. Amaron also confirmed the same when I went there also.

But running 2 min of diesel engine will consume a very little of fuel and may be equivalent to an extra traffic signal before my home.

Yes even at idle the battery light goes off when the engine is started

Stitched a centre carpet mat in a two wheeler seat cover shop. Will post the snap soon.
Do not want to spoil the centre as the dust accumulates there and may spoil the OEM mat.

Many Congrats RGK! Welcome to the Figo Club.

I did notice that Barcode sticker on mine as well, but it was peeling off.
The guy at Cauvery Ford asked whether i should have it removed.
He did it prior to the 3M film got done and without any smudges.

Good job on that, as if there were no sticker. It would have obstructed
the view (a kind 'blind spot')

I think you can mention it to the Service guys, when you are up for a service cycle.

Happy and Safe mile munching
