Have much more better times with the Polo, Avon! I've crossed 4000 KMS so far and its almost 3 months now since I got my TDI. Since you've completed a year, let me know if I need to check any oil/ coolant levels. Trouble free so far & just wanted to know if something should be checked regularly.

Yes, service cost is reasonable, more so because may be my usage wasn't high. I plan to upload some pics but with non-stop rains in Pune for the last week or so its very difficult to have a clean car at the end of day, shall post pics once the rain stops

Coolant should be fine I believe as I didn't hear any fellow BHPian mentioned topping up coolant. You can check the level should not go below the min. mark.

When I gave my car for service, dipstick was showing oil levels just below the halfway mark, so probably ~40% engine oil still left, may be good for another - 5-6000 kms, however you may refer TDI thread for more relevant information, though I am sure there are cases of topping up engine oil for Polo before 15k KM reported in team-bhp. Enjoy your ride

Total cost of 01st paid service - 3745/- including 12.5%vat and all other taxes. KMs covered at the time of service 7915km.
All ditto here. I think at VW Pune (Vidyut motors) cost are same for every polo serviced.

Only thing I still suspect in my polo is hissing noise of refrigerant as you start AC. I think refrigerant level is less than required. But Service adviser insists that it is normal with all polos.

What is experience of other owners?

I hear the same noise when the ac compressor starts. It's been there from day one. Never thought much of it.

CONGRATULATIONS to you and your happy Polo. Wish you many more happy Smiles & Miles ahead. CHEERS.

P.S: AvonA7, Please share the secrets of such superb & perfect detailing with us Polo lovers on Team BHP too.

Amazing AvonA7, what are you, a magician? You have left professional detailers behind.

Please share some more details of the Magic Potions & Tricks you used like:
1) What Protectant
2) What Wax/Polish
3) What Process
was followed to get those fantastic results?

Thanks in advance, Cheers

It`s good to know that you liked the outcome.
To answer your queries, I followed the steps as mentioned below -

a. wash
b. clay
c. scratch
d. polish
e. sealant
f. wax

It`s pretty simple and straight forward, just that we need to be patient as the application is time taking and be ready to take the physical activity (good for health though ). If you have DA etc, it`ll be faster and better too !

* There are many good products available in India today, and if applied properly most of them should yield fantastic results. I am not using any special products. Now if you are thinking whats wrong in sharing the product name ??

Recently I noticed everyone mentions a disclaimer that they are not associated with the organization etc just to share the feedback of the product they used to avoid infractions (probably) etc. I hate doing that, as we are the end user and I beleive we Team-BHPians share our honest feedback : +ve or -ve !
