Here we go again with our favorite obsession - mileage! Don't think you'd get a comprehensive idea at only 1500 kms?

Ford has their factory at Maramalai Nagar located in the outskirts of Chennai. If you take the National Highways to thiruchy, you could spot fiesta's lining up in the highways at steady speed of 80-100 kmph. I had seen almost on all day I happen to travel that way.

9 pages and not a single pic? Don't be teasers. Post pics of your Fiesta.

Difference between Swift Vxi (1000kgs) and Ford Fiesta (1110) in kerb weight is only 110 kms ( the latter weighs more). But Fiesta feels heavier than actual 110 kms. Why that perception? Where does that much weight goes in Swift with lesser dimension & without boot?

I like Fiesta A/c, braking & handling the most (felt the quickness in fiesta) . I felt the steering is stiff when compared to the Swift.

PS: Its not that Iam comparing a c segment car with a b+ segment. just compared with the one I drive

You have to note that the ACI figures are with AC ON all the time. While ACI figures can be taken as a guidance, they no way claim that you will exactly get the same figures when you drive. FE depends on various factors like road conditions and the driving style of the driver and hence there is always a +/- to the ACI numbers.

This is my first post on here so "Hi everybody".
I have driven the 1.4 petrol and the 1.6 Fiesta and though the 1.4 is feels a tad under powered than the 1.6, which is expected. The gear shifts are fun and precise, and handling is as good as it gets for a car of this size. The suspension is on the harder side, but when you drive with 5 adults on board, the suspension does really come into its own. I literally threw it around potholes, and I was very impressed with its handling. The AC is superb, steering is good, but not as precise as the ICON's and brakes are impressive.
1.4 lacks most of the chrome from the top versions, and this is a pity considering that most of the people would buy 1.4 (thats what the dealer told me).
Looks are cool but not spectacular and the tyres sure look punny. The car is slightly wider than the Icon and the thigh rest is a lot better than that of the Icons.
I liked the car, the 1.4 is the best Value for money deal, and if your running will be restricted to city driving, this is an option u should not miss.

The +/- to ACI numbers are most surprising. While dealers are advertising 23kmpl for tdci model, ACI figures shows around 14 kmpl. The +/- of around 10 is too much to consider even with or without ac. Someone is fooling us

Hi all,

I have booked 1.4 EXI and taking its delivery next week. This is going to be my first car, so I just wanted to know what all accessories is must for a new car and should I get them fitted in the showroom or get it done outside. I have no idea about the prices , in showroom they are charging 2500 – 3000 for sunfilms around 5000 for Teflon coating. Is this price reasonable? I am from Hyderabad , if you think I should get it done outside then pls suggest some good shops in Hyderabad.

Hello all,
Here are some pictures of Fiesta. Hope the owner is not member of this forum. Yesterday night I saw this parked in my friend's aptmt. complex. He took these for me. One thing I need to tell you, it looks gorgeous.
