Sahil, will have to check if lumar is available in cochin.by the way which is the best tubless 225/50/17 tyres available which gives a good balance between ride and comfort ?

navpreet318, dint post alloys cos they are 17inch multispoke ones. bmw is scaring me saying that 18inch is prone to tyre bulge issue. may be i will get some M alloys later

PlatzdaTurbo, are the white corona ring upgrades available in india ?

mpower, spacers fill up the wheel arches and also makes the track wider , which translates into better road holding and sexier looks of course.

Well this guy who has the 530D highline here in dehradun has been taking his BMW into river beds, bad roads,no roads lol.everywhere.truly testing the build quality. When the car was parked as usual i was oogling at the alloys and i didn't see any buldges in the tires. But ofcourse there is no doubt that if you hit a rut at high speeds it will get buldged.

This car really has an attitude. Sad but the new 5 has lost it somehow.

Oh most definately ! Without doubt they would be available. I have seen multiple 5s ( NOT Ms...standard 5s ) here in Mumbai going around with white angel eyes. Look truly menacing. Since i dont own a Beemer i have no clue where you would find them and how much would they cost. What i do know is, as far as availability is concerned, a little looking and you would find them and yes they would be FAR from cheap
Infact, i recalled Sahil contemplating having them installed on his 5 when it goes for the next service. He would definately have the best knowledge and help you out.

Im surprised your car has 17" alloys. I always thought 18" were standard on the 530d highline the same way they were standard on the 530i. BTW how is the night vision?

For 225/50 R17 look no futher than Yokohama Advan Sport. They will cost around 10k or so a tyre. And they are brilliant. Im using the same size on my Accord and trust me, they are comfortable and give massive amounts of grip.

Default Angel eyes

Here's a link to the angel eyes I installed on my car. I got them from this site but I'm quite sure you can find some on ebay and get them shipped to India.
GP Thunder Angel Eye Bulb Replacement for Newer BMW Models

I went with the H8-7500k bulbs.
Here's a pic on how they would look.

Nirmalkrishnan, I think the 530D is a bombshell on wheels. It's my favourite in the BMW 5 series. Congratulations on a hot car. I think the 5 series alloy wheels are like a work of art. They are amazing!

Cheers!

I actually got them when I was coming back from the US. They are just 15 dollars. I dont think they will charge duty on these and even if they do, it would be negligible since they are not expensive at all in the first place. I'm quite sure you will find some on ebay that can be shipped to India. The eyebrows are not white on my car. I like the orange so I left them that way. If you want the white eyebrows, I can suggest some for you. Let me know

Congratulations!

Try to find the white angel rings here: Shop in the US from India @ 20North - Millions of products, Thousands of brands (this site calculates the shipping and duty for you).

Otherwise I've found tons of them on Ebay. And I also recommend getting the front bumper of the M5 if you can manage (and like it)

Look forward to more pictures!

Is your car's registration number 2x2x? If yes, then I spotted your car on Saturday at Patturaikkal Jn at around 12:30pm.
