yeh...ridiculous waiting period! apparently people booked the car way way back in june/july without even so much as a testdrive. They didnt even know what features the car would be coming with at the time of booking!

Has anyone else on the forum received their cars yet?

So BMW wants to sell me the blue one as opposed to the black one I initially had in mind. Should receive delivery this month itself...if I am ok with the blue one that is.

I've added a pic...see below.will show it to the family n see if they like it as well.what do you think?

What was the original colour chosen?
Sorry to say, in this blue shade the car look a tad smaller than it actually is. Maybe its the photo angle. For a moment, I thought it is a 1-series.

Since you have waited so long, why to compromise?

@thegman: Which shade of blue is this one? AFAIK BMW has 3 different shades of dark blue- Monaco Blue, Deep sea blue and one more similar shade. Personally i like the dark blue more than Black in Bimmers.

The steering is HPS(AFAIK) and it is very heavy at parking speeds, but great for spirited driving.

Can anyone explain the significance of the yellow number plate with the RED lettering. Is it a temporary number? What does "TC" stand for?

This indeed look very good. Maybe the first photo you shared was from a wrong angle. Whats the interior trim you have chosen?

Ladies and gentlemen ...just got word that my x1 20d exclusive has landed...going to the warehouse tomorrow..should get delivery on Wednesday

I'm sooooo excited..I'm 23 btw..been a dream to own a BMW from the time I'm 12..and yes I'm a 1st gen entrepreneur ...no rich dad here folks

Can anyone recommend what tire pressure I should keep in the run flats?

How long (kms) do I need to be decent with the engine(ie burn in period) and what Max rpm should I keep it revving under ?

BMW Individual headliner anthracite (775)

The car is about 3 Lac more than the highline variant.

Regards,

P.S Does anyone notice BMW has more colour choices on the X1 than most mass market car makers offer in India.
Do they still have this variant? I don't mind checking it out for "sports seats" option.
