Hi Brandon,

Nice travelogue..
Great pics and nice captions.

I have seen the diversion to Ranganathittu from Mysore road during my recent trip to Mysore. But never knew that this place is so good.
How far is the sanctury from the mysore road?

Is there any particular season to visit Ranganathittu?

Nice Chikku. On the last two pics of your first post, is that also dust. I am assuming it is due to the mild rain. As for cleaning it, even I need to get my professionally cleaned. Why dont you buy the lens cleaning kit. It contains all the things required to clean it and with sufficient caution you can do wonders to you lens and camera.

I have always wondered if the Crocs come to the boat and attack. I heard it has happened. Why cant they use some bigger boats that is vertically taller to make it completely safe?

Yeah, that is the dust I was talking about. It is visible on the clear backgrounds. However for now it looks like been taken care off by in-camera "sensor cleaning " itself.

I have never heard of croc attacks in this place. But they really come closer to boat sometimes, just like floating log and pass by.
By the way there are even smaller boats which can be hired by oneself.
