Trip to Pahalgam

Hi All,

Last week I had been to AnantNag on a official visit and i had sometime to spend at Pahalgam, though short visit it was a memorable one, I am just going to post pictures with details for you all to enjoy.

Its a pure summer month and SriNagar was horrible being the second most polluted city in the country. Weather was amazing at Pahalgam.

One fact i learnt being in Pahalgam from locals is you get tired very soon even without doing any work and you get hungry, thanks to the air property over there - what lucky people get here, right?

Himalayas here might not be the same as what you see at Leh, but all the same, pictures may not do the justice, damn right they are Mighty .

Last set of pictures from the Valley of Shepherds.

You have seen the Golf course, Himalayas, Betaab Valley (named after the movie as the entire movie was shot here), Aru Valley.

Since Amarnath Yatra is on, we are not allowed to visit chandan vari, from here yatris have to go by walk or take help of poni's and are to cross 4 set of mountains to reach the shrine.

One more thing for non-vegetarians, this place is a delight, here the locals can make 28 different varieties with Mutton, they served me yakhni, rogan gosh, rista all based on meat and were wonderful.

Whoa man, that's like taking golfing to a new level! Nice set of pics of the beauty of Kashmir. One more thing, me just had lunch and now am again feeling hungry, for the Kashmiri cuisine.
