In one such melee we drove into the wilderness and we had no roads in sight ahead. We stopped waiting for the others.  We waited for a long time, and they were not in sight.   HVK walked back only to find the cars struggling with a water crossing and a steep gradient combo, which HVK scorpio cleared with ease! Meanwhile I tried clicking the tracks ahead of us   continued... |

I was intrigued when this guy shows up from nowhere  I walk further and find some nomadic settlements   I tried to strike a conversation with her in some language which we both understood! She wanted match box, and I promptly picked up from some and gave her  They stay there till the weather is good. The stone hedges are for their sheep.     Remembered a documentary on these nomads and how they kill the foxes that attacks their sheep and use its skin for making shoes etc..When I saw them and their settlement in real life, my respect to these people have increased. What a life, braving all odds they have to lead! continued... |

We have to report to the Check post here  We crossed the bridge by 17:30 hours.  Demchok is for another trip  The road that leads to Hanle  Hanle is another 50 Kilometers more  More ideas for the next trip  continued... |
