I was so fascinated by this hotel than I seriously plan to book a room here in my Yecaud trip nextime.

Our cottage was also good, extremely clean rooms, i went in off season and it costed about 450 / room.

Nice writeup. Heard from others that you do a lot of travelling. Great going, keep travelling and keep posting... after going through your travelogues people might learn a lesson of not calling the Alto only a city car anymore .

By the way, no pics of the car??

I think people like me and you were more interested in travelling/Driving. Its only after we land up on TBHP, we started thinking of Car Mods, ICE setups and Alloys. Now I have got a habbit of clicking my car photos whenever I go on long trips. My wife feels I give more attention to my car then her .
Anyway, keep posting your future trips

OT: Although reluctant initially but Now my wife has accepted the fact that she is my second wife, my first wife is the car
Now She has started to live with it happily !!

Yercaud is one of our fav destinations from Blore. My wife and I have been there 4 times so far and would love to go there again. Perfect distance from here, the place is not too crowded as well. For others going there, try this place called Grange Resorts for stay.

I have been to yercaud more often that not when I was in Salem long time back and they call it the "poor man's" Ooty.

BTW: Whats the best route to take if you are going from Chennai ? Someone suggested to take the NH to Bangalore and take a detour near Krishnagiri as the roads are better. Is the case?
