| Senior - BHPian | Sachin, Probably this fully grown boar was her first 'big' hunt until now, after watching the mother and trying to emulate her...she has learned a lot, except to go for the throat and choke the prey. Rest of the technique is bang on and she will learn from this particular hunt too. Looking forward to more of the sequence. Regards, |

| Honestly, you are one of the luckiest guy to watch hunt and kill in the wild. I remembered, Alphanso Roy, the ace wildlifer got to see tiger bringing down prey after spending 20 years in the jungle. This is a life time achievement dear. Superb captures especially the one tiger on the wildbore. Bring them on man. Thanks Subrat |

| Senior - BHPian | Hello Sachin , Simply fabuluos, cannot find any other words to discribe the photographs you have clicked. For a moment I thought I am reading online edition of National Geographic Magazine. The colors, position & shots are absolutely perfect. Man, you are genuinely lucky to witness this hunt live in action. I am eagerly waiting for the video. Thanks, |

| Superb pics! The boar must have given a tough fight to the tigress. Where's the video and more pics, the suspense is too much ! It's very rare for us to see a hunt/kill/fight in the wild and the memories of these photos will last a lifetime to all those who have seen it.Quote:

| Senior - BHPian | Sach: as I posted on my Tadoba thread, this area was closed after the hunt. You guys had all the luck. Last year in Kanha, we (at least 20 Gypsys) were watching an almost full grown cub. He started stalking a boar, but then chickened out when some more boars came into the field. I had my camera ready, hoping that I will see an attack...no such luck. Was a thrilling 30 minutes though. This is one brave girl. And I don't agree that all tigresses are beautiful. They are just like human women - some are more attractive and spirited than others :-) |

| @sach.sri - arguably one of the finest wildlife experiences on team-bhp. It must've been an awesome experience. Thank you for the wonderful pictures. As I mentioned earlier, it's raining tigers this summer in team-bhp. Rated 5 stars. Waiting for your posts after your trip with gdsir on 23rd and 24th. Please post the video too. I'm totally addicted to the wildlife related threads on team-bhp. It's one addiction I don't have to worry about ![]() |

| Wow! Wow!! and Wow!!! What amazing photos. As someone mentioned, professional wildlife photographers may have to wait for years before they get to see something like this. The quality of the photos too seemed very good. Being a layman, I wouldn't know the first thing about ccd or cmos but I do see that the images are crisp, clear and the colours look natural and life like. You sure are inspiring me to visit a national park once they reopen after monsoon. PS: Waiting for the video. |

| Even I rated your thread 5 stars. You are one of the luckiest to have shot the Tiger kill on a Camera and that too when you were on a normal Safari. Eagerly waiting to see the video. Kindly post it soon. |

I am still working on the pics - Friday was very busy with work and then we went to Ranthambhore for the weekend. Just returned - so will take sometime to post the pics. Sorry for the delay. Quote:
