Menacing presence of the MPV there. I never knew Army bought these, thought they were still on trial.
Paranthas and Mineral Wasser are for the faint hearted

That is our very own Romin, but was he worshipping, we better ask him

Sirji, I purposefully made those spelling mistakes in my post(copied from the menu list board hehe I thought why add minerals in himalayan waters(original here in Kashmir!) because even bisleri and others advertise their water source to be from the mountains, so they might have purposefully written "Minral" water.

Photologue - Aane do!

Laluks - Each travelogue you bump up your photography levels, particularly the PP, by a few notches. A few more and you will reach stratosphere. Great snaps.

Great job you, HVK & Romin. 5 star rating goes without saying for a laluks log

What was this all about sir? Can it be elaborated for any learnings for other fellow travellers.

OT: I think i have spotted Agent Vinod's Safari in Kothrud, Pune area. Had tried looking for the owner but did not find him.

This is indeed a thrilling travelog. The road is very narrow and I wonder what happens if a vehicle comes from the opposite side. Is there some wide region where two vehicles can pass? Impatiently waiting for the rest of the travelog.

HVK will detail the scenario to us.
There is a video also from the spot from the Car Camera, but unfortunately it does not reveal what was on the sides of the vehicle.

Since being again "active" on the forum, have been following up some great travelogues and of course this one.

This brings so many memories of that Oct 2011 travel of Kashmir and Zanskar, the best trip that we had till now!

Absolutely. One of the drives that you and Laluks must do is that of Gurez and beyond and also of Lolab and Bangus. Amazing drives and vistas.

Aha! that chaap rasta.... Whatever you do - sneeze or snitch, itch or twitch, don't lose your concentration on that track.

Its a no-error road. Again brilliant memories comes back from that road trip of Oct 2011. Quite a lot still left on the travelogue, will finish it up before the next trip.

Great pics and of course with HVK on board much better logistics and measurements than my wikipedia map [!] directions.

A must do road for any road and travel enthusiast. Bring on the chaap rasta...

And of course as always a 5* travelogue.

ADC, your TL of that drive was on my desktop for a long time as I prepared for this one!

Alas! We tried to go to Gurez too, but unluckily for us, there was some firing (and deaths) in Bandipora and curfew clamped down the day we were to travel, so no permits, etc. So that will be another trip.

What an scary yet amazing route to travel on! Have to state this - I went through the other 7 videos - kudos to you guys to even think, and successfully execute the drive through this route!

Noobie Q - at certain points, the roof of the cliff seem to be quite low - you didn't face any (top) scrapping situations?

Simply wow thread!

BTW, another option to reach Sach-Pass could have been via Pathankot - Chamba -Tissa - Bairagarh to Sach Pass.
I drove from Srinagar to Jammu via Mughal Road just 5 days back. The road provides good views only around Pir-ki -Gali.

If you check the drive plan which is the second post, you would see that we have come in from Kishtwar Khillar side and exited out through Bairagarh, but instead of heading through Tissa to Chamba and Pathankot we took Bhalei Bhani route back to Kishtwar

We are just plain crazy!!
