Thanks for clarifying, Gopi. I didnt know about a proposed airport at Aranmula, of all places! Is this a proposed international or domestic airport?

Thanks for the nice words, Adi. There was a bit of media coverage for the event but mainly limited to the online media, and their facebook page.
There was a coverage on the flag off from Kochi in the Malayala Manorama - Kochi edition.

The proposed airport is domestic and is included in the recently concluded Emerging Kerala summit. No one knows why Aranmula needs a airport .

How many of you were travelling in each car? Were you the only ones to drive throughout or did you have to swap teams?
How was the rear seat ride quality if you happened to travel sitting in the rear?
Thanks Hari! The road to the estate was a good find, we got to click some really lovely snaps there.

There were 2 people in each car. The blue one had the people from the online media, while the other car had folk from Honda, and was the support car. We had the flexibility to alternate being on the driving seat as we felt.

With just two of us in the car, we never got around to travelling on the rear seat, so cannot say much on the rear seat comfort. However, based on the sounds from the rear suspension when crashing through potholes, you can surely expect part of it to be transferred to the rear occupants.

Oh wow! We already have 3 airports, another one is in progress (Kannur), and now Aranmula airport! In this pace, each district will soon have an airport of its own
Kerala with its mixed terrain, and winding roads did offer a lot of opportunities to check out the Brio's handling. The harthal was a new experience for the others accompanying me as well.

Aranmula with its proximity to places like Pathanamthitta, Chengannur, Kozhencherry etc would make sense for an international airport owing to the large number of NRIs around. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
