Monumental Delhi - Yeh hai Dilli Meri Jaan!-201304203164_q1_q1.jpg

Went to old delhi for a food walk today - but initially couldn't get in touch with my friend who had called us there. So me and a friend decided that we would walk around on our own - and we ended up at Jama Masjid. I had not been inside since an evening in the winter of 2005, but this was at noon, biting hot, and a completely different place - because we went up the minaret.

Ulta lotus on dome - supposedly Indo-Islamic (Sarcenic?) architecture's sign

Miraculously on top my phone rang, and i located the gang, and went on a happy trip of nailing kebabs like the nawabs.

Sachin, great snaps ,wonderful work, you have taken great pains in capturing all this and when one views it the whole picture is seen in a different and refreshing manner than the usual boring way. What is the equipment you are using and do you edit your pics?

Thanks Vinrider. I have a Canon 7d and most of the pics are using the kit lens - 18-135 IS.

Yes - I do edit the pics, usually contrast/brightness adjustment and cropping, but for some I also use HDR toning (when I feel more adventurous)
