Hey guys.. i am back from our MUMBAI-LEH-MUMBAI trip.. and it was heaven on earth.. will post a detailed report in a few days.. to sum it up, the place is awesome.. both the Qualis's performed perfectly.. not a single puncture or scratch in the entire 6350 kms!!

Lovely bro nice to know you are back had i knew i would have callud u up. We thaneits had a nice meet this weekend.

First vishal and me tried some Isile Of ManxTT the we drove Mc Laren Fi (gulf ) and a f40 man that was fun .. hope to see u next weekend bro

Relieved to know that u had no problems and that u enjoyed thoroughly.
do post a detailed log with the do's, don'ts and other tips like where to get the permits, for the benefit of others.

I really envy your spirit and guts !!!
Spirit, I have too, but guts and time I don't

Should be able to accomplish something like this 5-10 years down the line.
Personally, I'd prefer flying to Delhi and then taking a vehicle from there.
Would save about a week and quite a bit of exertion.

Waiting to see your pics to feel even more jealous and get inspired.
Keep exploring

BTW, some biking groups from xbhp.com have also been recently to those areas. Here's a video that has been posted by one of the members

All the best for your trip!!!!
Did a similar trip in my series III land rover 1974, July 05.

Drove from Kolkata covering Thanedar, Sarahan, Shoja, Kaza, Tabo, Leh, Nubra, Srinagar, Jammu.
