That trip must have been pretty wild, what with you people racing across the country at breakneck speeds. While it did seem a little hurried for sightseeing, for a drive nothing could have been better. A dream run. Look forward to your travel log.

that was one WILD trip..awaiting your log to know about how the safari responded..what max speeds you did at what sectors etc.. would be useful for others wanting to to the same..

cheers

I just read a narrative(with photos) of Ram's trip in Ananda Vikatan(a tamil mag). Reading about the "Magnetic hill" was amazing. Must've been an awe-inspiring experience. The Black Safari looks extremely mean. So what if it guzzles like a camel and moves like an elephant?

OT: For every Tata hater out there, there seem to be 10 others who seem to have great fun and satisfaction with their Tata cars. Maybe this lot should be more vocal and share their experiences?

Anyway, congratulations Ram! You've truly "been there and done that".

Hai Ram,

Congratualtions to you and team for this amazing run. It's a dream run for me for some time.... planning to do it with my family next year.

Yes, Kumar is an amazing guy with mind blowing amount of information, used his logs last year and on this trip too. Three cheer to him !!!!!

I recently did A'Bad-jaisalmir-A'bad and touched your route from Jaisalmir till Tarad, lovely roads. Posting it seperately. When I finally plan out my programme will take your help.

Happy Driving,

I read the article that came in Tamil weekly magazine, ANANDA VIKATAN in "MOTOR VIKATAN" section.

In that Ram had mentioned about Magnetic Hill, where the car will be pulled up the hill due to its magentic stuff (with engine off). That's unbelievable. Anyone heard of it?

Man, why did u missed out the opportunity to mention about TEAM-BHP in that popular weekly magazine

Default Apologies folks

To all team-bhpians:

After getting back from the Leh trip - I just have been engrossed with too many things at the workplace that I am just finding hard to get the time to organise my photos (3GB), convert the trip/petrol logs from hard to soft etc. I think this should be done by next week and I will post the url.

Please bear with me and thanks for all the messages.

Ram
