Hi Mr Boss,

Excellent report and nice pictures. I was searching for things to do in Chennai and stumbled upon this thread.

Do you think that early November would be a good time to visit this place? I am particularly looking forward to visit Akasa Ganga water falls and of course the 75 hair pin bends . Would there be enough water in the waterfalls for my kids to enjoy?

Thanks
Karthik

I hope that should be the perfect time, unless the monsoon disappoints.

Folks, weather and water level are good at Kolli hills now. People planning for the long weekend outing can consider this destination.

I'm going to be biking to Kolli Hills from Hyderabad in January '18. One bit i request guidance from the forum on - i need to avoid Bangalore at all costs owing to the insane amounts of traffic. So i was thinking i can stay at Nandi Hills maybe, and on the morning of Day 2 set off to Kolli Hills.

Are there any places i can crash for a night after Bangalore maybe? Just want to have an alternative to Nandi hills. Is it possible to bypass Bangalore city altogether and head straight towards Salem?
