Default Final Part of Shravanabelagola

Let pictures talk, sorry for poor quality pictures! We left shravanabelagola around 12:50PM and reached Bellur cross and Mayur restaurant around 1:30PM to have lunch and then proceeded to wards Bangalore.

It was memorable trip to holy place to take belssings from GOD!!

Default Refresh before shutting down my BUSINESS

Well site seeing trips always done for one or other reason. This time I had to plan simple and best refreshing trip during the time when I had to undergo end of relation in my BUSINESS. Last couple of years of bumpy ride ended in bad style for me! My Boss termianted me because he had to take bold step one or other day!

I take anything +vely. So I right away found time to plan a trip which family members enjoyed it!

So booking done in advance and journey started around 6:30AM from Bangalore. Had good breakfast in 1 hour time and crossed Mysore by 9:30AM.

Spotted BULLET on the way! Thats majestic bike for sure.

Spoted usual ones but it was pretty nice journey!
Jeep has to do some offroading but we reached cottage safely. Watched bird/animal movie as usual and time for dinner around 8:30PM.

Default Dubare Continued

Day1: After dinner they arranged for campfire although there were 2 families no looked in mood to attend it. I made kids sing songs and dance a bit. So after short 20 minute campfire its end of day1. Distance travelled is around 230km from Bangalore in 4 hours.

Day2: started with morning coracle ride and nature walk! Our guide was kind enough to talk very nice. We had great interaction. Within 2km of walk we are back to have breakfast. Then comes most interesting part Elephant interaction which kids enjoyed a lot.

We checked out around 8AM and headed towards Mysore, on the way tried Jungle safari in hired JEEP (300/- + entry fees). Since not right season spotted only usual animals but it was fun. Travelled untill Karnataka and Tamil Nadu border and came back.

Then drove towards Mysore and took right turn before Gundlupet towards Gopal Swamy betta after crossing couple of villages.

Spent 30 minutes time there and travelled downhill to reach bad road untill Gundlupet. Reached Mysore Kamat hotel to have lunch around 2PM. Then stopped at channaraya patna for 30 min to do some shopping. Reached Bangalore by 5:30PM.

Distances: Bangalore-Dubare=230km. 4 hours.
Dubare-Nagarhole-Kutta-Panamaram=150km 4 hours.
Panamaram-Mysore-Bangalore=300km 6 hours.
FE: 8.5 with 5% AC on.
Vehicle comfort rating: 5star!

Hope to come up with more travelogues which are in pipeline.

Hey Ravi, Nice to see you have bought a Safari and started cruising again. Its always refreshing to revive this karnataka thread moreso when you are out of country (its nostalgic for me).

I need to catch up writing the travelogue in the last six months.
1. Mysore ZOO with family members
2. Ghaty Subramanya
3. Sirsi/Yaana/some interior of forest
4. Kotagiri/oooty/Mysore/gopalswamy betta
5. Nagarhole/Kabini and so on.

Will be loading the details and pictuires very soon.

Nice to know that you go on a trip to get some time away from professional muck. Ups and downs are part of life is a lesson I learnt in the last 2 years. Went through much of muck myself especially at the professional front. With the job security constantly under threat, and a new member in family, the pressure was too much. However, realisation came quickly, that it's never the end of the road.
You are now another inspiration! All the best Ravi. Like everything else, this would also pass.
