This is a great thread. Sam, those snaps of Lalbag were wonderfully serene. I wish we had someplace like that in the Western Suburbs in Bombay. Someplace I could take my lunch box and sit.

I am really enjoying this thread. Jenny, your description of the Jaipur Delhi Highway drive was hilarious. You made it sound like a drive just outside a Bombay suburb railway station teeming with autorickshaws and buses.

Default YetiBlog® 2nd April 2008

No need to wake up, it's a lazy morning in sunny bangalore.
After a late breakfast, a short walk through Lord Cubbon Park upto the Vidhan Souda.

Umm... Jenny, it's the vidhan souda, not the German Embassy, why are you trying to get in? Besides, you can never escape me, DU BIST MEIN!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA

Come let me show you what a Peru is. Peru? Yes a Guava. Guava? Oh just try it, lol.

Later, it's time to take Bangalore's favourite transport. She likes it

except for the traffic.

Kaffee und Kuchen time at our favourite chain of coffee shops.

Soon it's time to get packed and to go to the station. Bangalore City Junction to take a train to Chennai. Why not? This too is an Indian experience isn't it?

The train travels through rural Karnataka and it is beautiful, but it gets dark soon.

The train AC is too cold for her and soon she is wearing layers of my clothes on the train, lol.
The staff on the shatabdi just won't stop feeding us, it is way too much food. Jenny is very excited about the fans on the ceiling, she has never seen a train like this before.

4.5 hours later, we arrive at Chennai station, to be received by a beaming Sideways and his flying Lancer. We are to be his guests for the next few days.

From which angle do I exactly look like the aforementioned 'individual'?
(cant say 'gentleman', I'm not sure)

I mean, please tell me which exact angle, so that I take another good portfolio quality pic in that angle and submit to MTV Fully Faltoo, Semi Girebaal etc. They need celebrity impersonators all the time. Below are three.

That pic of TheOne® in front of the gate is actually at the Vikas Soudha and not the Vidhan Soudha.

Yup they do with the high court watching over them.

If you would have told me you were in Bangalore I could have shown you around with my exceptional sense of direction.

No thanks, according to your driving Whitefield comes between St. Marks Road and Church Street.

Oh, good you're not starting to see Tom Cruises again, like the one you usually think resides in your mirror.
