Ofcourse, do agree that taking snaps from a car (especially when one is driving) is tough. Atleast I find it tough.

I think headers has not chanced across this thread yet.

Thanks SB, for the resizing info. I will do it next time. Meanwhile, i omitted to post two pics from yesterday's set. The second one made me realize why the Nano may be a hit with a certain two wheeler buying segment of the public.

Thanks , bottle. Appreciate the link. I'm going to give both a try and post pics in my next segment. If you guys have any suggestions as to any particular area you'd like to see, i'll keep it in mind when i drive around. I usually keep mum on my travelog threads and let the pics do the talking. Cheers!

Here are some from the suburbs.

This is from my house to the Koyambedu junction, going through a building phase. Will look a lot different after a year or two.

Showcased in this set of pics is one of the suburbs of Chennai, Velachery and the OMR(Old Mahabalipuram Road) driving towards Mahabalipuram and what lies in it. Followed by a pic of the ECR(East Coast Road) at the very end, driving back to Chennai

This has been an exploration of a city that i left more than two decades ago. I cannot recognize it. This is what motivated me to capture images so i could compare 'then' and 'now'. And, then i thought i should share the pics with others like myself who don't have the opportunity to spend a lengthy period of time here, like i am fortunate. And, for all of you too.

These photos are from my wanderings today. Chennai does have the spiffiest looking police cars in the country. The police vehicles in other cities look like dog catcher vans!. They used to look like that in Chennai. Moving on up?. I was driving around and saw this done-up iKon race past me to the traffic junction. I drove up and asked the guy if i can take a pic. He said 'yes' actually pulled over so i could take a pic!.You be the judge of his work. Hope you like the pics. Want me to name the streets i take pics of?. Let me know. I've reveived five PM's asking me to do just that. Cheers!
