Nice pics and travelogue. BTW, the photos look a bit blur/foggy. Was the camera lens cleaned properly?

no I had ensured the camera was clean and ready for this travel. It was indeed very foggy at most of the places we visited. I am an amateur photographer, havent played around with the controls and settings of my camera and more than 50% of the snaps are taken by my 2 kids -- so that could be the reason for the blurry images

Bhattre, nice travelogue. Nice to see that the Temghar dam has filled up and even overflowing with water. It was barely a month ago that we went on a tBHP drive there and the water level was nowhere near what it is now.

Post Final Leg of the Journey

Last spot we stopped at was Tiger Point . Everybody was freezing due to rains and heavy winds and the fact that we had got fully wet at Bhushi. On the way back to Lonavla got stuck in a traffic. Took snaps of the surrounding lake and the waterfall while waiting for the traffic to clear :

Default Back to Pune

Half an hour and no signs of traffic moving anywhere. It finally cleared off at 3:30 pm. It was 4 by the time we reached the Lonavla -Amby Valley T junction. Took a final halt to refill our tummies. Hadnt had anything since the morning b'fast and half of Lonavla was in the restaurant to eat. Finally got a place to sit and ordered the food -- the quickest items possible were parathas so devoured them like hungry monsters :

got a rap when i was taking snaps -- we are all hungry here and all u can think of is snaps -- why on earth do you need snaps of the parathas? --- there -- i shut down the camera and start eating like a good boy

Reached home at 6:15 p.m. Total distance covered in 2 days 285 kms. It was a fun filled 2 day driving, traveling and an experience of a vacation with a difference. All this for just one smile :

This was my first attempt at writing a travelogue.I enjoyed writing it and reliving the experience. Hope all of you also enjoyed the travelog as well as the snaps.

Nice to see that you enjoyed your trip with your family.
Usually people just go out with friends.

Waiting for my boy to grow up so that I can take him on such drives(he is just 11 months old now)
