Day 02, 08 October 2010
BAGA - Chapora - BAGA

CHAPORA FORT

By 17:45 we reached Chapora. It's a steep climb to the top of the Fort. But the views are rewarding. We have some special places there behind the fort where we get down and walk to the edge of the cliff. The feeling is amazing. Allmost 270 degrees of water. On One side the Sea and Beach of Vagator, the other side is the beach of Morjim and the Chapora river joining the sea.

After our sunset views from Chapora fort, we drove to Brittos at Baga. Had a heavy dinner of Lobsters, Tiger prawns, Steaks, some pastries etc.. Brittos don't accept cards, so carry loads of cash before you sit here to dine.

Purchased a lot of silly stuff from the beach and reached the resort by 23:00PM.

The Chapora river joins the sea here. You can see a lot of birds here. You can also see the Chapora fort up the hill

Why do we like Morjim? Well the answer is pretty simple, it a calm and beautiful beach away from the crowd. You can have the entire beach to yourself. You can drive around the beach if you like.

In October 2008, Civvy did a drive here
