Lol nice write up and excellent pictures. Tanveer no wonder thats exactly where they have taken the economy and you and me have to just rue the fact that Suzlon is down and still going along with gravity.

Default The Royal Centophah's

Older Rajah's were an opulent lot, and that can be easily seen in the legacy they left behind(Forts, palaces etc.,)
However, even after their demise, this continues, with intricately carved "Chatris" or Umbrellas, build in the memory of every minor or major king or cronie.
So today, the Royal Centophahs were going to be our Sunset point.
The sun was setting, lending colors to the desert sky, as the windmills stood like sentinals, mute witness to the carnage their stock price had caused

Silhouetted against the sunset, they look time less, watching over the progress.
It seems that the kings are laying here, wondering what are these monstosties looming over their kingdom

Yes. 120 kmph and our Innovas are within the safety limits. But I quite naturally went upto 140 kmph on NH5 on perfectly straight stretches with divider and nothing in view other than the road.

ufraw is the GIMP raw plugin. I do some basic bulk adjustment by DPP, and for individual images I use ufraw. Still learning ufraw though.
After ufraw treatment, I get jpg, and do all levels and curves adjustment in GIMP and also do USM and other cloning cropping etc.,
However my weak part is extracting max dynamic range from ufraw. I can only extract some.

Amazing log! I have been planning to do this for a long time. Inspired by your photos and report, I have resolved not to postpone it any longer, but to do it this winter, Maybe Feb, but certainly this winter. Desert dunes images were superb. Light painting came out good!

Hey Tanveer, One more beatifully written TL. Just finished going through all the three pages. Rajasthan is really an amazing place and has a very soft corner in my heart as I have spent some of my most cherished childhood years here. Thanks again.
