Sorry Rahul a bit of OT here. Continue your travelogue.
Misunderstanding sorted out. cheers:
Regarding goa, I too have done a recent trip. We had discussed about the routes - you have PMed me. See my travelogue here.

Hey no probs mate. If you travel by that area you can see Warning signs on the walls along that area saying Photography prohibited. But its surprising to see gaps in the wall at many places ( Wall broken ) from where you can see most of the project area. But the security people are quick to spot you and chase you away from there in case you stop for sight seeing.

The guy suggest we take the village road and that our car was atleast 5 kms from here and we had to walk it up and follow the road. As we walked, we found two aunties who inquired if we were lost. They said, it was not safe to take this road for there were many eve-teasers who ran amock. She asked me to leave her behind with them, walk up to the lighthouse get the car and come pick her up. My TP refused to stay back.
Surprised you wanted to explore that option. Never ever do that.

Roaming on a remote location at late nights definitely not advisable on a tourist spot such as Goa (always cover these timing in visting plan). During my last trip have found that lots of locals were on high and behind the tourists couples. Getting caught on such a remote location at nights with a GF is asking for trouble.

Its better to plan well ahead on the days outing and execute it safely (esp when you and your partner were alone).

If you go through the link provided by Rahul, the below is given as the facility provided

"Toddlers room with trained Baby-sitter "

Seems this facility is available inhouse - NOT SURE

@ Surprise - The rest of it is coming up shortly. Just got my net connection at my new apartment a few minutes back.

Actually, the ladies I spoke to were standing outside their house. They were the ones who suggested I leave her with them while I come back with the car. The looked educated and very decent. Both of them were in their 50's I guess. It was really kind of them to let me know what lay ahead of us. The only reason I thought of leaving her behind was because I didn't want to get caught up with the eve teasers and escalate the issue. Btw, when this happened the time was around 6:30ish I guess. And either ways the place was just about 5 mins by a vehicle. It would have been a lot worse had we not got that taxi.

That's Rahul's alter-ego, the cowboy Stumpy McTotalled. Yee-haw.

If the lady in question ever catches you, Kiran, I can assure you you will need all of your 100 horses and tank-like build to save yourself from her wrath.

Yes, I do have some pics of the Chrysler 300 C. Last I saw, the pics you had put up on the forum the number plate read 2828. The one I spotted on my way to Bagmalo Beach Resort read something else. Do you have 2 of them in your stable? Btw, I haven't even gotten around to mentioning that car yet anywhere on this travelogue. Have I?

Either there is another black 300C in Goa that you are unaware of or its the same car running on a different reg number. Anyways, I shall put up the pics with the rest of my travelogue. One of them is my wallpaper, I am sure you and your uncle will love it.

We reached Baga at around 8 am all tired and in need of some desperate sleep. We lunched at Subway that afternoon and headed to Calangute beach for some water sports.

For those who are not aware, I have hydrophobia. But this trip was so special that we both decided to shed our fears and do something we would have never dared to do otherwise. Soon, we were para-sailing.

The experience was quite awesome. Actually, its almost impossible to describe what I went through when the boat took off, with me inching up into in the sky. The phrase "wind in your face" just seemed that. A phrase. All I could see is vast spread of ocean around me, with me soaring into the skies. Suddenly, a gush of wind blew past and unsettled the parachute a bit. It was only then that I said to myself "what on the earth are you doing up here you idiot?". But heck, it was worth it. EVERY single second of it. The adrenaline rush that you get, thinking for even a microsecond that you are flying like a bird. The landing was perfect. I expected them to land me into water, and that was my worst fear. Luckily the landing was on the boat itself.

We then tried the banana boat ride. I must confess it was super fun. I don't have pics of these events as I was afraid of taking the camera into the water. But once we were done, we went back to the car and picked up the cam. Here are some of the pics at Calangute beach that evening.

The view that greated us.

This is the banana boat ride I was talking about.

At the end of it all, I wanted to rent this monster and go out into the sea with MTP all alone. But they refused to let us take it on our own or even let us control the steering. A guy will accompany you and he will control everything and I was expected to just sit and watch. So we dropped the idea and I got candid and up close with this beauty.

Isn't she gorgeous?

We strolled around the beach, played in the water for a while until it got dark. There were a few shacks that had opened up by then. So we went to the one that was most crowded, hoping that they would serve us some good food. It got darker and darker, there was no sunlight anymore. Just the light from the moon, the stars and the little candle that was placed on our table. It was the perfect setting, sand on your legs, the musical sound of the waves, the faint light, some vodka and rum to sip, some starters to munch....

By the time we realized it was time to order the main course we had spent almost 3hrs just soaking in the wonderful spread that mother nature had laid out for us that night. A good meal later, we went and sat by the beach, with little waves of water just reaching us and some eluding us. It was 1am by the time we reached our room. That was by far, the most romantic night we have ever had.

It went from this....

Our table at the shack.

Did I mention we got some temporary tattoos done at the shack as well? Here I am trying to plan up for the next day before crashing out.

That night was our last night at Baga. Next day evening we had a reservation at Wildernest.

Before we headed off, I decided to visit some places that reminded me of my first trip with the TBHPians to Goa for the national meet. Yes, I went to LaGoa Azul, the place we had stayed during the national meet. I am sure these pics will bring back fond memories to most who attended that meet.

Khaadu, steer, psycho, amitoj, jay, nitrous, islero (where ever you are) this one is for all of you.

We had breakfast here, dropped by to a ground where Khaadu, amitoj and his wife, steer, keshav and his wife and myself had some fun doing donuts in our cars back in the days (or midnight should I say?), took a snap and we were off.

Mountain boy, this ones specially for you. It just feels like it was yesterday you were doing donuts on my car here and a herd of cattle decided to teach us whom the ground belonged to.
