It is the fault of the photographer (OTR "Master" - why does this term remind me of a tea / parotta joint?).

Ramky wanted to clean, but HVK is like why, I am fine with that and can drive as such. Our guy is so enthu that he wanted to clean the scorpio windshield. Me & DMP (Dirty minded prof. Khan, lol) was watching this. Suddenly the target shifted to us. ...

We tried our best to keep HVK warm due to the very cold climate over there. But all in vein. ....

I come down, open the lock for Safari, and moment later I see our Khan sitting inside the Safari. He literally jumped into the vehicle and hide himself in.

Meanwhile, we see that our ramky has got some old newspaper and sincerly cleaning the rear wind shield. Then Scorpio reverses with those little affected eyes.

...
Man, it was quite a morning. I was literally on my edge and about to loose my cool. But all such things are part of the fun and the experience...

"We want mjourno (what we called him in Kolkata )"

Lets share some more memorable moments of Day 5 before moving to next day. Sorry for missing in yesterdays post.

When we just crossed Chilka lake, HVK saw the OTDC Panth Niwas resort there. He stopped the Scorpio, looked back and uttered the very familiar statement ...

"Engaaa saar Safari!!! Epadi Otina poludhuku poi sera mudiyadhu saar"

And we reverse the Scorpio, park it near the left turn to go to the resort. He calls Safari and informs that we are waiting for them and once they cross the railway level crossing, they can see us on the left of the road.

Safari comes and we take the left, again the level crossing. Go to the other side, luckily no train passed and hence gate was open.

We park both the Scorpio and Safari, get down and walk towards the Chilka lake. It was a lesiurely walk after those long drive. As usual, we start our click sessions.

Some of those clicks

Dont tell me that you see one more pics of MJ with the blue jacket off

Then we return, and see the level crossing closed. We wait for a kilometer long goods train, it passes and we crossed those section.

We enjoy those nice landscape of the lake from the GQ.

We were going in some of the real good roads, and bang - roads just stopped from continuing. It just vanished. No signs, no deviations nothing.

I get down from the Scorpio, and walk a bit and see down, its just the railway line that goes down there. Seems like a incompleted bridge.

I wave the safari behind to stop and reverse. But curious cats comes to the spot. Seeing us, there was one more WagarR guy who also followed us and got stuck. I think he would have cursed us too and went back.

Then we detour and get back to the place where we see a first right. But there was no road. Some mud slope.

We see an alto passing there. So, we also follow him, and reach into the town. Yes, we were forced to go off the GQ due to incompleted stretch of GQ.

This was the culprit
GQ Drive: 2vehicles, 4meets, 5bhpians, 6days, 13states, 6000KMs.-img_6664.jpg

Then it was a congested drive for the next couple of KMs.

Yes, that was a very dangerous place, one can easily miss the broken road and go crashing up ahead. No signages pointing to the detour.

Our OTR guys smelled something exciting and I saw them dangerously poking around looking for some way where they could cross the railway track, but some hailing and they got back on track!
