Also, did all of you drive by rotation or was it just one person in a vehicle driving all the time, while MJ updated us!

How about Fuel?
Frankly its not about speeds. Its about continous travel + timing. With a person like HVK besides us, it will be a boom. Because, he planned the trip taking into considerations the traffics in each cities and planned accordingly so we either reach before the traffic or after. If not for 100%, this really helped a lot to achieve the 6 days target.

It was only 2 drivers driving their cars. Rest of us had fun, sleep, clicking pics...and Khan, did I miss something.

They travelled approximately 1000 kms/day. If they have driven 12 hrs/day, 83.33 kms/hr. And for reaching 83 kmph, they should have certainly done the speeds of around 120~130 kmph constantly considering traffic conditions. Maybe some stretches they would have touched 150 also...right, MJ.

If this is true, hats off to you both HVK and Rishi. Driving continuously for that much long is not a joke and that too 6 days continuously.

Yeah man. Slowly am coming out of it. It still has to sink in of traveling the GQ in 6 days.

That part will come later when the entire travelogue part is finished. Believe me, lots of stuff to talk about both the vehicles, F/E, etc etc.

Most of the times it was a sedate 100-120. Only at some very small stretches did we push to 130+

Hey, mjothi that's strictly off the forum man. No 'extra curricular' activities of the GQ to be discussed here.

All eyes on this thread, I agree with snaronikar, were you guys able to maintain such consistent speeds and what were you driving timespans during the days ??.

Hats off to you guys to finish this in 6 days.

Hats off to you guys for the endurance and zeal to do this drive. You were on roads almost 18 hours/day for 6 days continuously.

Great trip. Should be inspiration for the coming GQ Meet & Drive in Feb. Great pics of highways and all. Waiting for more.

Thanks for all the wishes and encouragement. As we get back to our choked up Inboxes and chaos of daily work life, we will upload log books (that will take some time tabulating from the handwritten versions), road conditions (sector by sector), facilities (hotels, petrol stations, etc) and other tit-bits, apart from the volumes of trip photos.

It was great team work, it was wonderful meeting tbhp-ians at Jaipur, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Chennai.

Wow, what a journey, 6000Kms in 6 days. I can't even imagine that in India this could be done. OK, I live too far from any GQ to experience it. Therefore I was not really following the planning thread of this trip.

Outstanding achievement!

Thanks for the wishes, folks.

We had a fun-filled drive and it was fantastic meeting up with members at Jaipur, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Chennai.

And yes - nice pics. Keep them coming
