oh nice job. But yeah, your trend to court attention with some sorta ungli phrases never goes

Now more pics of Orissa, eh?

The alloys look damn neat on the Innova. Waise how much extra was the V version? Wouldn't it be worth, given the touring you do

I will write a Book One day on "How to Market Travelogues on TBHP"

BTW did u mean ugly or Ungli?

More pics? oh, the Puri Hotel fellas scared my parents by stating that Kheonjar, Daringibari. Sambalpur, Hirakud, Bangriposi etc. are trouble prone areas. looks like all that is not hapenning in this trip.

So wait for my solo "Nightcruising Kalingasthan" Drivoblog in the near future.

The allloys costed 16.5K only after months of searching. The V Version was more than 2 lakhs extra. I wish I had the E version instead.

Great pics, and witty captions as usual. What is the state of the roads in Orissa now? Not too long ago there was a portion of the GQ (near Balasore iirc) that was in bad shape.

Btw, it's good to see that Kolaghat bridge has been repaired. Is there any stopping now? Or smooth flow? Am guessing the additional lanes are still under construction.

Hehe thanks. Somehow the thread has gone dry as we have exhausted the number of places to eat.

Hey ... All of the above mentioned places are pretty safe. There is no threat to the common man in Orissa .. If they are scaring you for Maoists or Naxals then remember their targets are local police and businessmen ... Dude if you want to see virgin natural beauty then move towards the southern side of Orissa i.e. towards Koraput .. I am from that place and if you need any help just PM me ..

Wish you good time ..

I'm in Bangalore. Let's plan a trip to Koraput, sunabeda sometimes when recession is over. May be another 1-2 years.

I've visted Sunabeda and Damanjodi in the year 2001 and loved the bauxite mines and the NALCO guest house. Drove down from Vizag on my M800---it was a lovely drive on the Salur/Sunki ghat.
Owing to constraints of time, could not venture further. I'm told there is a lot to see in Koraput and Bastar.
