Sam >> Wonderful, wonderful pictures.

To the best of my information Aamby Valley is on a 99 year lease. But what a wonder of a place for a lucky few.
Thanks for sharing.

LOL, Navin, those are not flip flops, those are shades; and they're not red, they're black!
I wondered if anyone noticed them, and if they would be commented on, as my husband and I were viewing the thread and we both went, what was he thinking? Sorry Sam, the red flip flops (chappals) have to go, very Jitendra types! Apologies for going OT

The contract act specifies only 99 year leases (which are the max allowed by law).

Now is this a typical Sahara operation then yes, the zero will come into the picture.

A lease is a transfer of immoveable property and is thus governed by Chapter V of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (not the Indian Contract Act, 1872). There is no 99-year or any other restriction on the duration of a lease. It may even be for perpetuity. Transfer of Property Act 1882 Section 105

99 and 990 years are merely numbers that amuse the human mind!

Techno, I suspect he knew that. I think he was being funny, lol.

And for the rest of you funny lot - find me another largish man with size 12 feet who can carry off a pair of scarlet flip flops eh?

FYI, I am going to Holland and Germany tonight and I'm going to wear those red chappals. So there.

I inquired and came to know that now amby valley is open for all.
All you need to do is spend 5000 Rs. Per head for a day trip.
And yes it includes B'fast and Lunch too
