Vlees! That's the word you're looking for.

It looks vague and nothing like flesh at first. But once you remember that the V is an F, that a double "e" is an ay and that all the dutch have this funny lispy "s" it turns into flesh quite easily. lol.

The German word on the other hand looks like flesh - "Fleisch" but is pronounced as fly-sh. A pound of fly-sh lol - sounds like a pound of fly-dung. Wonder if Shylock would have accepted that stuff.

It's late. I really should go to sleep.

Vayudoot was created in the early 1980s and used the Hawker Siddley 748 (HS748) commonly known as 'Avros' and a few F27s perviously owned by IC. They bought some new Dorniers 228s. Vayudoot was merged into IC in the 90s and was initially known as the Short Haul Department or 'SHOD'.

Alliance Air with code 'CD' and referred to as IC-CD, is a later development and was created in 1996 by transferring the old Boeing 737s still left with IC. Alliance operates ATRs & CRJs on regional routes. Alliance Air never flew Fokker Friendships.

The Fokkers (50, 70 & 100) being used by KLM cityhopper are a newer generation of jet aircraft. No comparison is possible with the much older F27 Friendships.

Cheers,
Exactly Ravvs! I haven't seen a Fokker Frienship for the past 2 decades---the last I saw one was in 1969 in Bhubaneswar. In those days, Fokker's were considered 'old class' and Caravelle jets as the in thing for flying.
However, I've flown in a Dornier 228 to Kulu from Shimla in 2002.
Don't remember an Avro though I'd heard of it. So Hawker Siddely made the Avro---the same company that made the Gnat and the Hurricane fighters?

BTW, nice pics Sam!

Darling, next time we are in Germany (well you, as I am still here lol) I will take you to Herbertstraße in Hamburg for a walk-through!
It is not an option, it is a must for every man coming close to the "Reeperbahn". And you will have to do this by yourself lol. Women NOT allowed!!! We cannot even take a peek. So I will wait at the other side for you haha. With a report of what it looks like, of course - that's the deal hihihi.

Fine then. Do what you like.

I know that one. I'm not stupid. It's a woman's "Fine. Do what you like", which actually means "Don't you DARE!"
LOL, HEY!!!
That can really absolutely differ from situation to situation! But since I am a loving and caring woman all there was to say was:

I'm super grumpy and irritated at the complete lack of sleep...

Now if I could only get some sleep...
So glad you actually got some sleep love :

Thanks Navin! If I have any problems I will contact you. In the meantime I have collected a few more things - looks like we will have a nice little herb garden too, yeah!

Zav tells me that the best thing to happen to womankind is the Yeti, ........ this photo proves it, well it also says he's a great raconteur, not to leave out marketer, traveller, human being.
Long live the Yeti.

I would have said, sorry, I'm busy until 10.00.

Which, along with my custom of declaring lunchtime and stomping off the caff for an hour, in mid-meeting, may partly explain why I am not in successful gainful employment today

More than being frightened by the Yeti - she would have loved him (kids love animals) BUT she would have been deaf by the time the Yeti woke up. Yes the Yeti snores too...and like a proper Yeti.

With friends like this, who needs enemies?

Jenny, I guess you thought its a sweet picture. Since then I've been called "hairy arms", "the beast" and a gorilla by forum members. Now thanks to Gautam, everyone knows I snore too.

These blogs are supposed to make me look good...

Somethings not quite right here.
