Slightly offtopic but relevant. Yesterday, my sister in law were talking to their friend called "X Basu". After they finished their call, they were just discussing how her husband had come all the way from Kolkata to HYD or something like that for the wedding anniversay. I was just sitting there and surfing TBhp. Just causually asked - Is her husband's name Tirthankar Basu? Do they have an Innova? A black one? All answers were in "YES". I was like ha ha ha, I know this guy, never ever interacted before but a fellow TBhpian whose known for his lovely travelogues! Small world isn't it Tirthankar? PS: PM me for more details!

True, it is small world. The place where I happen to live (4th A X...), I saw a few cars with tbhp sticker. But I have never met them in person, but may be on this forum. Back to topic: I never like visiting crowded religious places, exception was Hardwar, great food, sweets. Varanasi also falls in the same category I guess. Thanks for a nice read on Varanasi.

Nice, informative report and pictures. As usual, a great deal of human element in the pics. Some are very expressive images.
