Here are few more pictures. These pictures are after we started from our hotel from Udaipur.

The hotel was pretty expensive Rs 4000 ( but luckily included breakfast ). Expensive because we used it only for about 10-11 hours.

We had started from Delhi around 7:00 am and reached Udaipur at 6:00 pm in the evening , it took us a while to search for the hotel as we had already booked it online.

Early morning we started from Jodhpur and went to see the Jal Mahal ( few pictures posted here). It was a amazing view and pictures really dont do the Justice to that place.

From there we started towards ahmedabad , again excellent roads and the car was doing nothing below 120-130kmph

Also we were very happy to see the MUMBAI 729 kms board as we had done almost half distance from Delhi. ( Delhi - Mumbai was 1430 kms ).

Stopped by at a petrol pump for refuelling.

Great long distance trip. Plank falling off a bus is a scary scenario indeed. You were very lucky Harish.
Did you have any issues with KARNATAKA ROAD TAX? There is a thread on this forum about harassment by the RTO.

Must add, your Spark looks cute & kool in black with nice matching alloys.

@ Karan @Idea @ White : Thanks for the compliment. I had to hunt a lot for these alloys and also to let you know ( most of the people dont know about this ) that the inners cup of the normal alloys are not compatible with the spark i had to get them opened a little bit to make it fit into my car ( phew had to stand in the sun to get it done from a shady place ).

@TSK 1979 : I was driving real fast , now i think how could i do it after my alto turned turtle @ around 90-100kmph , anyways mileage was never a concern as it came out to be cheaper than flight tickets for 3 people . I generally fly to Mumbai or Goa.

@ Jay : I really did not face much problem with cops throughout the trip. There was no problem with the Karnataka RTO. Yes , the Goa-Karnataka border the guy who was checking the license and noting down the cars number was amazed to hear the Delhi registration and also asked me if i had driven down all the way , i reall y liked his expression ha ha.

Am going to post some more pictures after this

Here are few more pictures.

Few pictures are of the Ahmedabad Gujrat highway , One of the best that i've ever seen ( i'm sure you all would agree ).

Stopped by at a pit stop ( petrol pump ) in Gujrat , i've done almost entire India by road and this was the cheapest Reliance petrol pump ( Ambani Connection you see ).

Was really excited to see MUMBAI 57 KMs ( nice boards hanging out of nowhere ).

Hope you guys like it

Harish, I am really enjoying the pics. Keep 'em coming.
I was surprised to know that Reliance bunks are operational again---when were they resurrected?

I did intend to tour the South including Karnataka. But after reading about RTO harassment in multiple states - karnataka, kerala, tamilnadu - I am very hesitant. Imagine having to pay road tax for a Safari in 3 different states on one single trip.

@Harish > glad that you did not face any trouble as such.

There is nothing like that Jay and i have never heard these things and myself done all 3 states in my Safari which is KA registered never faced any problem.

Just Zoom around Jay there is no harassments to pay tax.
