For now i'm posting the pictures of the initial journey till about udaipur. Hope you'll enjoy them. Also if someone can help me understand as to how do i write comments/notes for each picture , i'm not sure how to do that because that would give a better descrption of every event. |

Infractions: 0/1 (8) | Isn't the fuel efficiency a little less for the Spark? You said you did 5000 kms and spent Rs.17,500 on fuel. Assuming an average of Rs.50/ltr, you consumed 350 ltrs of petrol for 5000kms. That's about 14.50kmpl.

| Senior - BHPian | The car looks cute and the pics are nice. I love the shot of the speedo, but I wish it was placed in front of the driver. Tell us about your close shaves.

Infractions: 0/1 (4) | @ Akas : Thanks for that link , ill go thru it once i finish writing this @Kannan and Star : I posted more pics this morning but somehow they are not showing up right now. I'm going to post more with comments soon after this. @ Amit : You're right , good maths there. In fact it was around 13.5-14 as the average per litre across the cities came to around Rs 49 , Also to tell you that the return Journey from Mumbai till delhi was like hell especially the MP stretch which gave a major setback on the Mileage , but i wanted to cover almost all the cities on this drive and i did it . You live only once so better do it while you're alive. @Prince : I've observed that you're a hyper active participant on Team-Bhp and i'm going to be soon cos i'm on this website for almost 10 hours a day since last 10 day which makes it almost 100 hours in 10 day and would continue moving forward and coming back to your question it took me my brother and my wife almost an year to get leaves together to plan out this trip. We bought this car mainly for this purpose , I have an alto , maruti 800 and an esteem besides my Sparky @ Vnabhi : One was on the MP stretch where we were doing around 100kmph and there was a state bus coming from the opposite side ( yo uknow the ones with their rooftops full of baggages) and suddenly one big wooden plank kept on its roof slipped and came right in front of our car and the bus passed by us at the same time and i had to take a strong right averve towards the opposite side of the road to dodge that plank , we thanked our starts that it did not land on our car otherwise i would not have been writing this travelogue |

Infractions: 0/1 (4) | Here are few more pictures from my road trip. Also i was very lucky as the prices of fuel went down by Rs 5/ltr indiawide just 3-4 days before i went on this road trip and that saved me around Rs2500-Rs3000 in total ( lucky me). These pictures are from our 1st pit stop in Udairpur. |
