Pics / Report : Trip to Goa - 28th May to 1st June 2005 - Team-BHP

A band of 6 Team BHP members did a trip to Goa from the 28th of May to the 1st of June. The gang consisted of me (Dippy), Aditya, Stratos, F50, Drifter and Nitroxx. We headed to Goa by road taking in Aditya's Contessa and Drifter's Accent CRDi. Total distance from Mumbai to Goa about 600 kms. The NH17 is a dream to drive on We started off at 6 AM from Mumbai and touched Goa at around 5 PM which included stops for breakfast and lunch. It was a rocking trip and we didnt feel like coming back. Here are a few pics . More will be added later along with a detailed report of the trip

Oh yess....finally!!!

Will check out the pics. Any vids? Post some pics of the NH17, i've never seen the Goa-B'bay stretch.

Did yo'l check out the roads in Panjim? When i was there last time , they were preparing for the Int Film Fest and boy were the roads awesome. It's so good they could have an Indian Monaco GP in Panjim.

Superb pics.. nice to know you enjoyed.. my request to you to please put up the way you went i.e which road you took and how much time it took you the speed at which you travelled and more details of the road experience so it will be helpful for fellow bhpians who plan to go that way.. thanx..

Sounds like you all had alot of fun.
But how about a proper informed drive down soon so many more members can come?
Looks like you guys were staying near the TAJ.
You guys should have walked from Brittos back in the waves.
It is long but very cool but gets a bit tiring (it took us a couple of hours with us having drinks every now and then. we left t 4 and reached at 7.30 with our feet paining and somehow, we still managed to go clubbing till 3 - 4 in the morning)

Right said Shan! Being a Goan myself, I've driven in Goa since a long, long time and have always stressed that if there are streets worthy of hosting a race in India, it's the streets of Panaji.
Roads in Goa are simply the best!
