Seems like a fun outing, liked the comments given to the photos. Was there in KRS in the noon yesterday. We were coming back from a trip to Coorg. The gardens were beautiful as usual, was sad that the entry to the dam was closed after the bombay terrorist attacks.

Apologies for getting the kid's name wrong - her name is Dhaani, not Dharini

Default Some more pics as well

Since this is Hrishi's first travelogue, we'll just skip the narrative and just caption the photos and try to do a photo story.

After a late start because some of us had to work all night and some of us had to party all night, we met up at McDonalds at Maddur.

After some tomfoolery at Brindavan Gardens we headed out to Balmuri Falls close by, here we found why Brindavan Gardens seemed so empty, everybody and their father and mother were here trying to increase the river's rate of flow.

We went scouting and discovered that for a small price the coracle guys would take us to our own piece of turf.

Discovered a tranquil place away from the mayhem

after an afternoon's fun and frolic it was time to return home, we stopped for an early dinner (5pm) at Amaravathi and gorged on biriyanis, then it was back on the clogged Mysore-Bangalore Highway.

An unhurried stop for settling accounts at Coffee day at Maddur and again a slow start back.

It looked like they were betting for the IPL Finals

It was a great day of fun and enjoyment for everyone and this time the ladies took care of the accounting to ensure that there are no goof ups and to everyone's surprise the whole day's expenditure came to just over 240 Rs/head apart from the fuel costs. Hats off to the Ladies.

Lovely pics and apt comments.. I am sure you guys had loads of fun.

The pic "Leaving a child all upset" takes the cake. It's a great capture if seen as a stand-alone photograph without context.
