Buddy your Bolero is 2WD right definately it will skid sometimes. Same tires is used by Star-Aqua but in 4WD Jeep it perfoms excellent in all terrain except Slush you PM and ask more about this tyres.

Avoid rocks with Bridgestone HT. The sidewalls are fragile, and getting cuts and bulges is very easy.
Otherwise they are decent on sand

Hi,
Very good travelogue and really cool pics..I am planning to go to Leh in my Scorpio as well. Maybe sometime at the end of Sept or beginning of Oct. I would like to know which would be the best route. I am planning to go from Bangalore to Rajasthan first Via Pune and Ahmedabad.

Do Rajasthan on your way back. It will be cooler then. Leh then you will do before sept end.
As long as you are back before oct start you should be okay
