Thanks a lot tmnraghu78 , completed pochera and kuntala Waterfalls yesterday
the road is indeed superb I was able to maintain an average speed of 89kmph.
However at Kuntala i did see things that were very disturbing,generally at tourist spots entrances we see a glimpse of the actual "subject" instead they had photos all around of people who had been killed. Was this earlier when you all had visited or is this very recent.

Is it worth taking family on a sunday or is it scary?

Would there be water at this time. Any eateries close by?

Yes it should be safe to travel with family , I infact went with my mother and wife. Its better to carry your food most of the drive involved Highways driving and I was in no mood to stop

Can anyone update the latest road conditions to Kuntala waterfalls? I and my friends are planning to visit it this weekend, 17th July. Five of us in a Baleno.
