Family trip hopefully! Drive to Sarahan, Sangla-Chitkul, Kalpa, Kaza, Pin Valley and back to Kinnaur, then go to Uttaranchal via Rohru and Chakrata to Musoorie.

Rajiv/Lalu, Dwaraka (Bangalore) and I were planning the trip, he in his Gypsy and me in my Scorpio, both with our families. No plan as yet, but broadly we will do 2-3K in the hills, over 10-14 days. We are also hoping to bung in a day's trek somewhere. And since I have not been to Chakrata, etc, I wanted to take that route to Uttarakhand.

... and if you include Nepal (west to east) too, you would have completed my GHiRT dream; even before I get to the starting line!!

Totally off topic but I have one small question: How do guys manage so much of holidays?

This looks like an enduring mystery to me.

As long as I get to sit as the navigator next to the driver - doing my logs, pictures and guiding stuff, reaching Delhi is no problems
