Good going, CL, nice pictures of the zoo, anything more to add to it. I am yet to check out the thread on Pune _kerala trip, will do so soon. You still havent answered what did you say to the tortoise, that it had to get so angry?

Mmm, thats nice so what was the moral of the old story, slow and steady wins the race? I think with the present generation it would be changing to....loses the race!

Hey Majic, how come you did not notice the Golden Pheasant staring at me? He was fiercely trying to protect his territory! Know why? I told him that Majic uncle wants his cage!!

And yes, in today's world, 'slow and steady' will definitely come last!

Thumbs up

Chevy Lover, Excellent photos and narration. You have made a lot of effort to put down the experiences, which I liked very much.

I also visited Velankanni and Kodai alongwith my family during last May, but I am afraid, whether I can narrate it so nicely (I was not a T-BHP member then). This helped me to refresh my memory.

Cheers

Chevy Lover,

I am a big fan of your travelogues. I was looking forward for your updates everyday. I recently became a member and I really wanted to appreciate the time and the efforts that you have put on to write this travelogue and I must also appreciate your wife for taking such nice photos when you are concentrating on driving. I read your Bhutan, Northeast travelogue in a single stretch without taking break and my wife has already started asking me when we are going to make that trip. I also like your slogan " Travelling ten thousand miles of world is better than reading ten thousand scrolls of books!!". Thanks for providing an excellent travelogue once again.

Hi Venky, thanks for the compliments. I am so happy that my travelogues are having the desired effect.

My wifey has become an expert photographer and she is entrusted with all our clicking activities during our drives! I come in only when special settings are required!

Our Bhutan trip was a once in a lifetime experience! I hope you will be able to do that trip soon!

I do believe that travelling will teach a person many important aspects of life, that books never can!

Hey CL was on work for the weekend, funny the golden pheasant was looking angry? I thought it was amused at seeing you at the zoo! Might be wondering how you escaped captivity. So what comes after teh Animal Planet Series, back to National Geography! Please continue the lovely work!
