|  Day 2, November 28th 2009 Continued Wax World. After our lovely pizzas we went to the Wax World. Nothing in comparison with the Madam Tussad's at London and Amsterdam, but an attempt at it. Heard that they are having difficulty in running the museum. Wax world is on the way to Conoor from Charring Cross. It is very near to Charring Cross. We reached there by 17:15PM. Power Puff Girls at the entrance of Wax World  Senior Power Puff Girl with the Wax World Mascot  Wax World Museum  Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru  Mahatma Gandhi  Chatrapathi Shivaji  Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam  Dr. Manmohan Singh  Sir Vishweshwaraiya  Subash Chandra Bose  Rabindranath Tagore  Bhagat Singh  Bal Gangadhar Tilak  Mother Teresa  Veerappan !!??  Old TV and Radios.  That TV shutter reminds me of my childhood, when I used to find a way to open that and watch the TV and close it back as if nothing had happened  .Old telephone  Nice Flower  Cabbage Fields - right behind the museum. | Day 2, November 28th 2009 Continued Tiger Hill - Lovedale - Ketty We just drove towards Coonor. On the way we came to a place called Tiger hills. You have to take a left and go for a few kilometers. Roads does not seem to take vehicle traffic after a while. You can trek up here if you are interested. Tiger Hill  Sun's evening rays have given a nice shine to the trees  Lovedale We continued further and reached Lovedale by 17:45PM. This station was constructed in 1907. Just looked around the Toy Train station and moved on. Red Riding Hood and Power Puff girls at Lovedale  We've got a train to catch  Power Puff girls at Lovedale   Landslides About 2KM before reaching Ketty you can see the devastation caused by the recent landslides. It is quite a sad sight. I'll post about that later on. Ketty We reached Ketty train station by 18:15PM. This station was constructed in 1908. | Day 2, November 28th 2009 Continued Ketty - Charring Cross - Resort. We left Ketty by 18:30PM, reached Charring Cross by 19:00PM. Spent half an hour here seeing the lit fountain and enjoying ice creams. They switch off the fountain by 20:00PM. If you are planning to see the fountain, please take a note of it. Tried some exposure stunts, some came well, some did not.  Charring Cross fountain in the night   A close up  Power Puff girls near the Fountain   We reached the resort by 19:45PM, and the girls rushed to their Mummy to tell their experiences of the day. Looking at that itself was a sight. Mummy had a relaxed day and was enjoying the sudden attention that she got!! and of course the chocolates from the chocolate factory!!  See a happy reunion of all the power Puff girls!!  We ordered some dinner and retired for the day. Kids talking about their experiences through the night. I listened to it till I dozed off. What a wonderful day it was, no plans when you got out, but yet so wonderfully spent. We had been to so many places, we were relaxed, we had icecreams, we had pizzas, we had chocolates, and of all we had loads of fun. Except for Ketty, we were never more than 5Kms from Ooty. There's hardly anything there. Before you realise that you entered you exit the museum. Anyways its just a few minutes of our time. Further there is ample parking space, and the cabbage field behind it is nice. Posting temporarily stopped :( Till all BHPians have synchronized by Monday. | Great going laluks.Photos are good.Never knew there is a wax museum in Ooty.Lovedale station looks good in snaps.I was wondering how you allowed your powerpuff into the railway tunnel but realized that the train was off the tracks due to landslides.Good work with your camera. |

| I never knew there was a wax meuseum.By the way the number of pic you have shown of those personalities i thought it was a big room but only to get shock by your statement. |
