15 RAJABABUes in Malaysia and Singapore-untitled.jpg

Destination: Malaysia and Singapore

The group: 15 entrepreneurs from Baramati.

Group leader: me[Ashish]

All are travelling first time out of India.

12 out of 15 boarding the plane first time.

8 out of 15 are the enemy of the language "English".:

This trip is inspired by the blog narrated by yetibaba [Team-BHP @ Sepang 2007 report - almost a blog]

@SAM,
thanks for your sepang blog.
In Malaysia, we will pronounce "teri-maa-ka-c" extensively.[for details, click here]

All the planning, booking is done by me.

Team-bhp is the site where i got almost all info and help regarding this trip.

Thanks a lot to Bhpians who helped me.

We have not taken any external travel agency help except for visa.

The tour cost is almost half the cost quoted by travel operators.

We will travel by bus, train, plane, taxi, monorail, rope way.

Rest of the story in detail will be posted in the first week of March.

Start time: 22 feb 2010, 9 am from Baramati.

Next posting: At some time tomorrow.

Here's a guy who starts a travelogue before he starts the travel. Cool. Had you started today, I'd have stood somewhere along the expressway to give you a send off.
All the best to you and the other babus.

Clicking here didn't help for teri-maa-ka-c. Almost said teri-maa-ka-c when the opening window threw an error.
So off to Majula Singapura! good going dude. Selamat Jalan!

Lol. Got that Therimah Kasih. I used to go crazy as a milk drinker asking for susu there!
What did MX6 have in Malaysia? Susu to drink, day and night!
Have a good trip AP. MY and SG gives me some good old memories. I see that you are looking at Batu caves, Batumalai murugan, Genting (big let down for me. In case you try your hand at gambling, remember the dress code. No shorts and strict shoes for entry), Mono-rail, Clarke Quay, Mustafa :( and other imp places covered. Enjoy.
Over to tiger beer!

Why? Why? Why am I getting the sadistic pleasure of rubbing it in with a sentence - "I told you. I told you to stay away from Mustafa".

One of the MRT in singapore runs without a driver. Automatic. I used to love sitting in the foremost coach right on the front window (if you can call it) that way and watch the train moving from driver's vantage point! Trains are fun!

Post photos 12mati man.

So the gang is having gala time there.

Terima Kasih Ashish. Waiting for the fantastic narration and photos.

About Susu - well said Mx6. And I still remember and cant stop laughing the incident when I landed there.
Day1 - I landed there.
Day 15 - My wife and kid supposed to join me.
Day 14 - I go to the mall and buy 12 ltr of "susu". Call my wife in Pune. Home is set for you to arrive. Got 12 L of "susu" for us to consume over next week and She was like . Will show you how they neatly pack it in 1L tetra-packs. And then for every travel, we used to stock "Susu Coklat" 250ml tetrapacks. For the benefit of readers "Susu Coklat" is ready to drink chocolate milk.

So interesting stuff on the way, it seems. Ashish. upload photos fast.

Hi Ashish,
Waiting for lots and lots of photos not only of the Raja Babus enjoying but the sights in Singapore and Malaysia. So is the trip business or pleasure ? Or both ?
Well you must try the street food in Singapore. Well if you are pure veg then you need to make sure of the ingredients because no meat = fish. Otherwise its very tasty and nice. Also take lots of photos of Changi airport especially Terminal 2 which has gardens inside it.
I am hooked to this thread , bring on the pix and travelogue.

My trip wholly solely depends on your feedback.
Just one premier Q. Was it "Worth" travelling by AA?
