Cool All in a days(or twos) work !

Went up to my native place a couple of days back. It's known as Wallardie and lies just after Vandiperiyar on the NH220 to Kumily-Theni. I'll be sharing some pics of the buses that run around there. If your patient enough you might even get to see a UFO.

1. A KSRTC ordinary sporting bodies built by Harsha. They are usually AL Cheetah's with the screaming sound. They sound like a race car. The camera I have has poor audio recording qualities hence never gave it a try. Maybe later.

2. The side view of the same bus. Totally crap-looking. Inside, the dark windows lead to a gloomy, dark and claustrophobic interior. And not to forget, these things leak when it rains.

3. Some random flower.

4. A pair of CJ3B's that roared by. The rear one looked so sweet. Dunno if they're Team BHP members.

5. Same jeeps.

That's all for now. Hope you'll wait for the buses, trucks, another CJ3B and that UFO.

That UFO is the intrigue. I thought that you'd post more bus styles.

Even if not T-BHP the Jeepers certainly looked like off roader with hi lift jack at the back.

Default Swalpa Adjust Madi ain't relegated to Karnataka

I'm pretty sure this scene is found all over our 'Adjusting' country. Oh yeah, notice the girl sitting between the driver's legs. Must be his daughter.

Well here are the KSRTC's I spotted -

1. This is the current body style for buses. Front ends differ for AL and Tata versions.

2. Rather easy-going style of the driver. Remember, he's doing 50-60 kmph round a bend.

3. Mouse-nosed older style bus. Notice the lack of roof-carrier making the bus seem like it's missing something.

4. Side profile of same bus.

5. Another Harsha bodied KSRTC ordinary.

6. Bus with the roof carrier.

7. Rear half.

8. Back design that's rather plain.

Next up; The privates!

These are 2 of the 4 brothers who run the Mubarak group business. That includes the Mubarak Buses. They are based in Vandiperiyar and basically own half the town. Seen Here in their funked-up CJ3B

No, I don't think so. They were modded a bit with wheels from the current army jeeps. They surely came from a auction yard a long time ago.
