Kudos to that one Inder. Tsk Tsk Alter

I can still smell the food when I close my eyes. And the rain constantly made it go down all the more better.

Anyway, going for dinner now. Our cook has made some nice chicken gravy

Thanks S3va and suresh.

Asdon!!well said. The prawn malaikari was awesome.

Finally after playing the blame game and cursing all the females of the world we come back to the hotel and decide that enough is enough.

We are going to our private beach and going to live our seafood dream. It was already 6 pm and still we still had to get wet and play with the waves.

So off we go towards the beach to realise that the restaurant serving seafood has closed after the lunch and open post 7pm for the dinner. We decide to collect the prawns and other aquarium masala on the way back and start towards the beach.

The beach was hidden and hidden and had very narrow roads leading to it.
Kudos to inder for finding it out.

And when we reached there our eyes were just short of popping out.2 Days, 24 Hours on the Road, Bangalore to Gokarna-bara.jpg

2 Days, 24 Hours on the Road, Bangalore to Gokarna-bara1.jpg

It was a complete isolated and undiscovered beach and we were its only occupants.

I couldn't resist the water and ran straight into it fighting the waves.Alas forgot that the autocop was still protecting my vehicle but the dude was getting wet in my jeans.

Anyways we had lots of fun there and we even stole our cutie pie's ball to play in the water.
This was the best part of the trip.

I still remember all of us lying around on the beach and the waves tickling our feet. Before we realised it was dark and we decided to dry ourselves and walked towards our rides.

And surprise surpise..Autocop just wouldn't work.

And the embarressment king that I am said : No problem.they key should work.

Avi bhaiyya: But it will trigger the alarm.

Me : Kya baat kar rahe ho.My vehicle, my key.Why should it raise an alarm and I insert the key and it unlocks.

I give my characterstic winning grin to avijit and open the door. And bam.
The alarm trigger. Why the hell is he always right.

With no choice left brandon pops in and disable the sound. But we are not able to disable the flashing lights and decide to drive to the hotel and fix it as it was getting late.

Once at the hotel everyone gets inside all tired up and me and avijit wait at the parking lot for inder so that he can get the toolkit and we can disconnect the battery to disable the autocop.

Meanwhile seeing the flashing indicators and we fidling inside the hood , a local guy comes to us and tells sir there a parking button.you just need to switch it off.And no matter what I explain to him in hindi or english he would'nt understand. And then I point to avijit as he is the one who can take care of the kannada part.I ask avijit to exlpain the stupid man the entire episode in kannada.Avijit says:no problem, rightaway.

And then 15 mins of silence.Avijit is finding words from his limited kannada vocabulary to explain the episode to this guy.another ten minutes and the guy is staring at avijit for an explanation.

Finally avijit opens his mouth and says: Jao bhaiiya, tum bhi kya yaad rakhoge. And I was like ROTFL.I could have also said that.

Finally inder comes down and we reset the autocop and the go ahead for dinner.
Brandon's and inder's family stay back as the kids have slept.
So remaining all reach the green gate seafood restaurant and have a feast and take parcel for their better halves waiting back at the hotel.

Finally satisfied we have a good nights sleep.I actually remember eating the prawns , licking my fingers and then waking up in the morning. The intermediate part was lost in the taste of the food.Just awesome.

Next day we start of to bangalore and its drizzling.Awesome sequence for a mushy romantic drive.Off we roll and enjoy driving.
Slowly its getting darker and we are on the four laner highway.Inder hears a noice from his left wheel and we stop to check.Dont see any issues.

So we decide that I will be following inder and brandon will be leading.
And then the drama unfolds.

Suddenly a zen probably driven by a maniac starts his crazy drive from nowhere honking as though he is going to attend his wife's third marriage.
Criscrossing the traffic, breaking all the rules that existed in the indian traffic rule book and bulldy everyone on the road.I myself wanted to block him and give him a bashing for putting everyone's life in risk.

I was driving besides inder, so its like the safari and the swift are moving parallel to each other on the 2 extreme lanes with the middle lane empty.

Its pitch dark and then our organiser gives me a call.
Lets stalk that zen.And suddenly I see brandon pulling up his accent in the middle lane.It was an amazing view. All three rides were running parallel to each other as though giving a synchronising performance.

It was really thrilling as though a scene from tokyo drift.LOL.

And then the plan was executed. We all went as a unit right behind zen.
No one honked , no one flashed the lights.Just were behind the zen in all the three lanes.
If the zen increased the speed so did we.

If we gave the side indicators asking us to move in front we didn't.It was as though we were the zen's shadow, refusing to leave his back.
He tried to outrun us and failed. He gave us side so that we would go ahead and leave him repenting for his crazy and dangerous driving, but we didn't.

Hope it was a lesson well learnt for that guy.I am sure he might have crossed his fingers and prayed to god as there was no tomorrow.

Avijit being the director of this entire episode has the reels too.

Avijit, kindly do the honours of posting the video here.

Would be really an interesting watch.

I finish the report here.
In case I have missed any other memorable stuff then do pitch in.

Overall it was the longest and the best trip till date that we had.

Cheers to the team.

Note :
The best part that I realised was that, we were all like minded folks. So the fun continued lap by lap.

Hope Avijit comes up with another trip plan and we can collect some new beautiful memories again.

So this is alter signing off.Need to go to office early tomorrow.

Well the Zen guy had it coming

Actually, he didnt know that we were all part of a group initially. Once he passed us, we come up with this crazy idea of teaching him a lesson.

So, we decided we will all drive behind him abreast and make him feel that we are someone trying to waylay him.

So, after some distance I come up behind him and put on my highbeam and I have crystal vision whites, which can be quite strong. Then Alter and Inder join on either side and after sometime, seems the guy got scared.

He put his left blinker, and so did we. The second he realized we were also slowing down, he tried to move away and then we also followed. He slowed, so did we and at one point I even switched off my lights and drove behind him, which just the wicked blue parking lights and my fogs.

Anyway, I hope he learned his lesson, as that guy was desperately trying to shake us off and was probably praying when another i20 drove up ahead of him and stopped.

After sometime we let go and then we spotted another teambhpian along the way in a White Swift with MH plates
