Default The Bull is Back

Finally went today to collect the bull. My daughter wanted to do all that thing again. But had to restrain her because it was 8PM in the evening and did not want to spend night there. It would have also set in motion a routine of going and collecting again. Nevertheless we will go there again after some time with adequate time at hand.

The bull was packed nicely in bubble wrap and kept in a bag.

As I had written before, I stay here with my family. So, I have a fully functional kitchen. We cook Indian food and eat. Once in a while we do go out and eat the Egyptian food like falafel (taamayiah, koshary, Phool etc).

There are other fast food joints which serves like any other country. But normally avoid them.

When were you here?

That's fantastic. It has come out very well. But DSC323 looks much much better than DSC326 & DSC327, why is that? Is it due to the flash?

Thanks a lot.
Yes, its camera "ill-effects". Over exposure I suppose. It was evening time and not much of natural light. I though that this question was coming.

Sorry, I guessed on my own that an Egyptian Meal has to be in Egypt. So silly of me.

BTW, Yesterday turned out to be eventful. Firstly, we went to City Stars again. I managed to click some pics from outside.

Thanks a lot. But now it would be different lens as I unfold yesterday's events. Thought I gave a clue here.

Anyways, after some daily need shopping and daughter playing in the kids's area we left for the the house. Dropped the shopping bags and left for Zamalek. Zamalek is an island in the Nile. You will never get an idea that you are on an island. Its thickly inhabited. At the most you will get an idea that you are on Corniche. The purpose was to visit the bank, walking on the street (read window shopping) etc.

I left the taxi about half a km of my destination and decided to walk along the Nile.

Default Along the Nile : Zamalek

In the Zamalek area, there are lots of floating restaurants. They are based on small ships which are permanently docked in the Nile and a small bridge to get into it. Normally the food is just average but its the experience which makes it different. Did not go to the Floating restaurant but caught few pics.

One of the Floating Restaurant

Hey, excellent stuff there. Istanbul and Cairo on my radar next year, guess the information would be very helpful. Am enjoying this one.

P.S. How do we give caption to the photos ? do we write a caption and attach the corresponding photo ? or is there a better way ?

Thanks a lot. I am sure you will make it to both the places. All the best for that.

I too did not find any information on that. I found my way by most popular method known as "Hit and Trial".

Yes, after attaching the pics, write the caption, close the "manage attachments" window and insert the corresponding pic from the list available in the "attachments" button. Thats the only way IMHO to insert captions.

What narration Sirji! Just finished reading the entire 13 pages and waiting for more. 5* from me. Reason - for a person who never stepped out of India, your log served as phree Egypt darshan. And i am sure this would help others traveling to Egypt in future.

I was about to tell the "same story everywhere", but then you pointed it out clearly. But I hope it isn't as bad as here.

Yes I'm happy to see that; what's that building? Is that the Indian consulate?
