@Riju, I think first three are from Pondicherry and last two are from Velankani - would be good to identify them. And as always awesome snaps.

@MP, nice snaps. So I guess from the pictures that the guest house was of Aurobindo Ashram, and located at Pondicherry.

@Ampere: the avenues/street/rue's where the churches are located, are in Pondicherry town.

@mayurpalav had posted a snap of an avenue laden road. Is this the same stretch between Pondicherry to Nagapatnam, for which you had also posted a snap (not remember which thread ).

Just wanted to know if its same stretch.

Yikes no !! Only the last one is from Velankanni which is St Mary's Basilica. The 4th image is from Pondy itself and was shot at the park near the beach.

Me too rated. Now you should.

Nice lengthy, detailed log you have got. Liked the excel with details. Sure you have patience.

@riju, as usual a wonderful shot.

Excellent photos there Riju. And I loved the fact that you've not given the KL - Sing touch to these photos!

Listen pal, KL and Sing' had images shot with both the DSLR and the P&S. You cant expect the same quality from both and btw the only difference I see is with the images being framed here unlike the one's on the Sing'-KL trip .

arindam sorry to have hijacked your thread. Peace .

1.jpg and 5.jpg are amazing snaps from framing point of view. And the exposure in 1.jpg is excellent.
KL and Sing photos were terrific too. But somehow image processing made it look a bit artificial. These are some amazing snaps Riju.

Especially 5.jpg is simply out of the world.

@Arindam Da, nice snaps. So I guess from the pictures that the guest house was of Aurobindo Ashram, and located at Pondicherry. Incorrect.

The guest houses are inside Auroville, this one was very close to the Matri Mandir. I was in Pondicherry only for a single day. I spent most of my time in Auroville.

@ Ampere, The avenue laden road is in Pondicherry town not on the way to Nagapattinam.

Thanks Punyabrata. It's a nice drive - do it sometime. November gives some long week-ends.

I'm intrigued by the last photograph. The french drive on the right side of the road in France and all it's colonies. But here I see the car in the left side! Set's me thinking as to why the french drove in the left in their Indian colonies alone?
