This is an old photo from Fazal saab's last Pench visit with me.
Felt that this thread should have a Tiger in Habitat shot.

Dear Fazal Sir,

I have a lot of thoughts about your pictures and words describing the travels through Pench. But I am not able to find words deserving enough.
Let me just say, Sir, that it is indeed these pictures and words that can remain etched in the hearts of many, and speak to them about so much.
Pench is a beautiful place indeed, and your pictures are capable of making even the most shallow of persons realize what we might lose, if we continue tormenting Mother Earth.

Thank You, Sir.

Regards.
Samarth

Hello Fazal sir, your photographs are truly fantastic and fabulous!! I could visualize being at Pench through your photographs. When we were at pench in Jan, we too had the same experience of not sighting a tiger but the beauty of Pench was absolutely splendid!! I recently got a new DSLR - Canon 500D with 55-250 IS Lens and being an amateur photographer, I could not capture the beauty of Pench the way you did sir!! Hats off to your photography skills and a 5* to this thread.
Hope to catch up with you sometime to learn a bit of photography

CrankShaft05,
Thank you for your kind remarks and compliments.
Thats a good gear you have, to start with.
The beauty of Pench or any forest/ nature...seriously, do you think can be replicated? Maybe in bits and parts thats what we can very humbly try and try, I too am learning just like you but would love to be there when and if you need me.
The tiger is a part of the bigger picture, which I too am learning to see.

Invader,
It is nice to know this thread has added a visitor to the park, which hopefully translates into revenue for the forest and its habitants.
You are welcome, the pleasure is mine.

Samarth,
You have overwhelmingly humbled me!
I am just trying. Friends like you and others here who have gone through this thread are my inspiration apart from what I derive from nature.
I will continue to bring more from the wild to you, at the start of this thread I was apprehensive...(how will it go without animals???).
You all need the applause.

krish,
Thank you so much.
The exact topography is not known to me, Pench is in M.P. and Maharashtra, it should be a part or an offshoot of western ghats.

Fazal Saab, truly remarkable master pieces (Wallpaper material). Have been watching your threads for quite sometime and your trips to Srisailam aree wonderful. On Dec 26th our family went to Srisailam for a darshan but I insisted on going to the forest and coaxed my family to be tehre. They have truly cherished the experience. It was a wonderful experience (Thanks to you and your photographs), until i saw your photographs I never knew that there was such a beautiful location in Srisailam.

Rated this thread 5 *

Thumbs up Re: Magnificent Pench !

Fazal
As i looked at the photographs on this thread, a poem played in the back of my mind, long forgotten in the textbooks of school days, so i looked it up on the net, here's what it is, i am sure your will identify the poet.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The photographs are brilliant, are you a professional? As mentioned by everyone, these really are brilliant pictures.

I am not a professional, wish I was.

Saurabh, you don't know Fazalbhai. He is too modest. You should see his past travelogues and the photographs. He is a pro. I wish I could compose & take picture like he does.
